"Marshall"
Someone whispers, but my eyelids are way too heavy to open
My body feels so tired I can't even move my paws
"Psst- Marshall" I hear again
"Hmm" I reply, still with my eyes closed
"I'm going to a recycling carnival outside town. . . wanna come?" He asks
"Hmm"
He chuckles
Then I wake up
I was covered by a green blanket, my suits folded on one corner and my helmets forming a pile over them
"Rocky?" I ask, quickly looking around my red pup-house as I let a yawn go
What's the time?
I make my way outside my pup-house and directly inside the Lookout
"Look who's finally awake" Rubble mocks. He was just walking out of the elevator
I frown "Rubble. . . Have you seen Rocky?"
"He went to his Recycling thing. I thought he told you already" he exclaims as he walks toward me
"Yeah. . . He did. I think"
Rubble then clears his throat as he begins to walk outside the Lookout "Are you coming to the statue inauguration today?"
What. . .
"Wait- What inauguration?" I wonder as I quickly follow him
He starts heading with sped pace to town and I follow him, he tries to explain to me but he gives up and just takes me to the place
And that place was nothing else than the park next to the town hall
Trees and benches are decorated and a big creme blanket is covering something the size of a regular chair
A bunch of people surround the town's mayor as she proudly expresses how glad she's with the changes in the city
"Who's that?" I ask Rubble
He smiles "That's the town's new train conductor, Mr Hudson"
"What about them?" I point
Then Rubble giggles "That's Jake. With different clothes and a new haircut"
I can't help but giggle, and then I point to a man, dressing a purple-blue ish suit "What about him?"
And Rubble squints his eyes, he then shakes his head "I don't know. . . Never seen him around"
Unlike the others, he wasn't listening to the Mayor's story. He was just constantly glancing at the creme blanket
"Hey Marshall" I hear behind me
I quickly turn around and see Katie, next to her, Ryder
"Katie, Ryder, what are they inaugurating today?"
And Ryder chuckles "Unfortunately, I can't spoil anything Marshall. But you will soon find out what it is" he finishes pointing forward
I turn around and see the mayor, quickly taking a mic to her mouth level "People from adventure bay!" she exclaims. Making all the heads turn to her as she stands on top of a small black stool before continuing.
"I welcome you all to our new statue inauguration" she gestures her hand to point at the covered statue
"We all know how magnificent the Paw Patrol work has been to us during this year. No matter how the weather is or if the sun lights the street, they've never shown any fear of the perilous missions"
