Life in care has never been easy, Kiara Taylor is no exception to this cruel reality. From the moment her father walked out, she swore that she would look after two younger siblings like her parents never had. But through it all, her responsibilitie...

2 and a half months later and I can gladly say that Mr Watson is behind bars.
For 2 and a half months I struggled, having to repeat my story over and over again, dealing with people who didn't believe me and the list goes on.
But I stuck with it, and it was all worth it. 15 years in prison is definitely not enough, he deserves way worse for what he did.
But it's enough to give me some sense of closure and help me move on, and for that I'm grateful.
A part of me can't help but wish I could get closure on what happened with Keith aswell. But, maybe that's a bit ambitious. It happened years ago and even knowing that he's in prison didn't help me.
But, again maybe it's delusional of me to think I could ever get closure on that, I should just be happy and glad Mr Watson is in prison for the foreseeable future.
To celebrate, our 'victory' (if you will), Mike has given us all a day out in the country. Though, I think he's the most excited because the field I'm currently standing in is most definitely no Dubai, but whatever.
"Right, everyone reach into the hat and pull out a slip of paper!" Mike calls out, and we all comply, pulling out a slip of paper that either reads team a or team b
I pull out team a, and thankfully, I turn to see Liam also walking towards Mike (our team leader), aswell as Gus, Johnny, Lily and Sapphire.
"Alright, today is all about Team building, and learning how to work together out here in the beautiful countryside" He smiles, and let's just say that last statement is extremely debatable.
Most of us ignore him, pulling out our phones, even though there's absolutely no service out here, anything is better than 'team building activities'.
Mike snatches Liam's phone, causing him to complain "Oi, I was on level nine!"
"No mobile phones today" Mike shrugs, looking around at us all, still with phones in our hands. "Hand them over" He pulls off his hat, dropping Liam's phone in it and giving us all a look, telling us to put our phones in aswell.
"Now that's out the way" Gina rolls her eyes at us. "The first activity is an obstacle course"
That doesn't sound too bad to be honest, and anything to see Elektra's face when she loses.
"Teams, I want you to take your time, we don't want anyone getting hurt" She says enthusiastically. "Most importantly, please make sure you work together!"
"Gina should be a life coach the way she's talking" I whisper to Liam causing him to laugh out loud and Gina to glare at us, already assuming our joke was at her expense.
Liam rushes forward as soon as Mike blows his whistle, stopping at the top of the climbing frame to help me up. Elektra doesn't wait for Tee to reach before running across the course.
