Two years after the previous events-

"What on earth are we doing out here?" I ask, laughing as Liam pulls me along - An almost 4 year old Elle on his shoulders. We're at yet another place that I never thought I'd visit again : the countryside we visited 4 and a half years ago, after the rape trial.

"What, we can't visit the countryside?" He questions playfully, trying to hide the fact that he is so clearly up to something. "You excited to see where I fell in love with your mum"

My heart stops as I think over his words. I never realised that he had loved me this soon. This was when I realised I loved him. It's silly, but that thought makes me feel like we truly are meant to be. However, his words are said so casually that I try not to distract myself with them.

"Seriously, what are we doing here?"

"You'll see" He shrugs. It's become very clear to me these past two years that he's fond of surprises. That really isn't great considering surprises make me nervous.

After a bit more walking, we find ourselves beside the telephone box that Liam and I used to call the lost dog's owner with. He turns back to me, pulling a black blindfold from his pocket. At this point, I'm so excited that I just give in and let him blindfold me without any complaints.

He holds me closer to him with his hand in mine, which I'm grateful for - given my lack of sight right now.

"We're here" He says suddenly, releasing my hand and moving away from me. I can hear shuffling around and whispers that make me want to take the blindfold off, but I refrain. "Take it off on the count of three"

As soon as he says 'go' I pull the fabric off my head, gasping at the sight in front of me. I'm barely even able to focus on the familiar people surrounding us due to the beautiful field of flowers that we're stood in. Flowers that I don't remember being here last time.

Elle is stood in front of Liam - who is facing me. She looks slightly confused on what to do before Liam taps her shoulder and whispers something in her ear. "Go on, give it to your mummy, Essie"

It's only then that I notice the small piece of paper that she's holding in her hands. She runs towards me, holding it out to me. I thank her, unfolding the slip carefully. My heart stops as I read the four words, sprawled across the paper.

Will you marry me?

I gasp, looking up through the tears that have begun to form in my eyes. I'm greeted by the sight of Liam, on one knee before me - an open box in his hands.

I'm speechless as I spare a glance around us, spotting friends and family. My eyes catch on certain familiar faces that I haven't seen in a while, such as Gus, Sapphire and Elektra. I'd probably more thrilled if I weren't so mentally preoccupied by Liam.
