I woke up the next morning cuddled up next to Cedric and smiled. I rolled out of bed and decided to freshen myself up and get dressed. After that I went into the Great Hall to get something to eat. After breakfast I walked around the castle to do some thinking. I make it up to the 7th floor and start walking up and down the corridor. While walking I start thinking about my music room back home. It has a gorgeous piano and other lovely instruments. It's also soundproof so no one would ever hear me playing and singing. It is so amazing and I really miss it. Suddenly I see a door appear. I open it up and find a beautiful music room with lots of open space and beautiful instruments, almost exactly like home. I sit at the piano and start softly playing a tune. As I played the last note and finally looked up I felt so liberated. I decided to play a little while longer until I got tired and left the room finally. I walked to the Great Hall and saw my boys all eating at the Gryffindor table. I sat in between Oliver and Cedric and we all started talking about summer plans and my apparent travel schedule to visit all the boys. After dinner I went to the Hufflepuff common room and decided to do some doodling. After a while I looked at the final product and smiled at my work. I sat on the couch and looked into the fire thinking about my dad...what did he do to be put in Azkaban? Will he ever be set free? Will he want me when he gets out? I got so lost in my thoughts I didn't notice Cedric come down and sit next to me. He put his arm around me and it was only then when I realized I had been crying. I laid my head on Cedric's chest and he just sat there and rubbed my back. I must have fallen asleep because I don't remember anything after that.
~Cedric's POV~
I looked down and saw Mirabella had fallen asleep. I sat there for a little bit for deciding we both needed to get to sleep. I carried her light body up to our room and tucked her in before changing into some pajamas and climbing in next to her. After I climbed in she clung to me and I didn't mind in the slightest. She has had so much happen to her this year. I hope this summer she can relax and rest up. She started shaking and I just rubbed her arms and kissed her head and she seemed to calm down. I smiled as I watched her calm down. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
~Time Jump~
~Mira's POV~
I woke up on the morning of our last game and decided to go for a run before our practice. I got dressed and went out to take my run. I stretched in front of the doors and once I was limber I started jogging around the grounds. After my run I decided to sit at Black Lake and do some thinking. I started softly singing to myself and then I heard a noise coming from the lake. I looked towards the water and saw a mermaid staring at me. I waved to her and she dove back in the water and swam away. I shrugged it off and decided it was time to go to practice. I made my way to the quidditch pitch and found my broom sitting there waiting for me. I met the team on the pitch and we practiced some drills before breaking for breakfast. We had to have our energy today, we were playing Slytherin today and they play hard. I looked over to the Slytherin table and saw Marcus Flint staring at me. I was slightly disgusted so I decided to go take a walk before the game. As I left the Great Hall I heard someone walk out with me.
"You scared today Foxe?" I turned around to see Marcus smirking with his unattractive face.
"I'm only scared that my beaters will make your face worse than what it already is."
"Please, accept the fact that you love me."
"I'm sorry but this isn't one of your sick little dreams. I am not, nor will I ever be interested in you." I walked away to change into my uniform for the game. I shut and locked the locker room door since I'm the only girl on the team. I got dressed and walked out to be greeted by my teammates. We all climbed on our brooms and when the doors opened we flew out and into our positions to start the game. Marcus winked at me and I threw up in my mouth a little bit before McGonagall entered the pitch to referee the game. I looked over in the Hufflepuff stands and saw my Gryffindor boys all decked out in yellow and black to support me and Cedric. I smiled and they all cheered for me. I took my position in front of the goals and started taking deep breaths. The game started and Marcus took every chance he could to get closer to me which I responded with pushing him away and taking the quaffle. We were up by 40 and I happened to see Cedric flying towards what I hope is the snitch. Marcus tried to throw the quaffle towards the top ring and I stopped it just in time. I see a hint of gold right near my face and then I see Cedric barreling towards it. I move out of the way and Cedric catches the snitch with ease. We won by 190! We were all celebrating as we flew down to the ground. Cedric handed the snitch to McGonagall and we went to the locker room to change. I got out and saw my boys waiting for me. I ran and jumped into Oliver's open arms and he spun me around.
"That was such a great game. You're one of the best keepers I've ever seen." George told me as he kissed me on the head.
"Thanks, but Cedric caught the snitch and really won it for us." We all sat and talked for a while until the boys decided to throw a party at Honeyduke's. Cedric and I agreed but decided to shower and get changed before we went. The boys understood and let us go so they could go get everything set up. Cedric and I walked to our room and I decided to dress cute and when I walked out of the bathroom Cedric's jaw dropped.
"What? Is it too much?"
"No, you look amazing." I blushed and grabbed the locket off my nightstand.
"Could you help me out?" Cedric nodded and clasped the locket around my neck and it started glowing where I was in the world and it made me smile. Cedric and I walked down to Honeyduke's and when we walked in there was a sign that led to the back room where I could hear my boys talking and laughing. When I walked in with Cedric the decorations were all black and yellow. We all sat at a table and ate food and enjoyed each other's company. Percy asked if I could spend the night with him so I said yes. That night I fell asleep to the sound of Percy's heartbeat.
