I wake up the next day and realized it was the day of the full moon. I went to the Hospital Wing and made a potion for animagus transformations.  It's supposed to make the user numb to the pain of transforming. After researching werewolves in 4th year I know it is painful to transform because your body tries to fight it. I smile and greet Madame Pomfrey before leaving to go see Professor Lupin. I enter his office and make him a cup of tea with the potion mixed in.

"Good morning Professor, drink this. It will help with the pain you'll endure tonight. I'll give you three doses before dusk and it should help with your pain. "

" Miss Foxe, you are truly remarkable."

"Thank you sir. I learned a lot over the years."

"And you're only 17. Your mother would be so proud."

"Thank you. That's all I want in life, to make them both proud."

"Trust me dear, they couldn't be prouder. They always know you would be incredible at all you do."

I smiled at the compliment and the thought of my parents being proud of me. I bring in my photo album of my parents and Professor Lupin smiles.

"I remember all of this. Your father was a huge help during my transformations."

"How did he help?"

"He and James Potter went through the pain of becoming animagus to sneak out and help me get through the full moon. When your mum found out what he was doing, she agreed to brew me potions to help me recover."

"My dad is an animagus?"

"Oh yes, that's where you get it from. He turns into a black dog with piercing yellow eyes."

So that's what that was. That dog was my dad.

"Did my parents date while at Hogwarts?"

"Yes they did. They got together about a year after your mum and Amos broke up. Your dad let your mum come to him. He knew how much she liked Amos."

"What happened with my mum and Amos?"

"Amos didn't like that your mum hung out with your dad and the rest. He broke up with her because he didn't feel he could trust us and he made her choose us or him."

"That's awful."

"It was, your mum was heartbroken. She wouldn't let anyone mention him."

That's why Amos is so adamant on telling me about mom. He feels he owes it to her. I stay with Professor Lupin all day talking about my parents and the fun times they had together. Later that night, at about 6:30, I start taking Professor Lupin through the passage ways Madame showed me to get the professor to the Shrieking Shack, where he will under go his transformation. I bring the professor in and lay him on the bed so he can rest until the moon appears. All of a sudden Ron is being dragged into the shack by a dog.

I recognize that dog. That's the dog I saw a while back. Which means...

"Sirius why do you have the Weasley boy?"

The dog transforms into a scraggily looking man. He looks like he's barely eaten, he looks like he needs a shower, he looked deranged until he saw me.

"Mirabella, what are you doing here?"
