After the meeting with Dumbledore I walk toward the one person who I believe can help calm me down. On my way there I run into Madame Pomfrey.

"Oh excuse me ma'am. I guess my brain is a bit preoccupied."

"You're perfectly fine dear. I too was a bit lost in thought. I will let you go on your way. I will see you tomorrow morning."

"Yes ma'am. Have a great day."

We part ways and I continue my journey. I make my way to the Gryffindor common room but the portrait doesn't open for me. I look up to see Sir Cadogan in the fat lady's place.

"Madam you are not allowed here."

"Sir I live here. Of course I'm welcome."

"I cannot possibly let you in ma'am. You are not a Gryffindor."

Right as I was about to argue with Sir Cadogan a bit more I hear a mischievous voice behind me.

"Cadogan, she's with me. Let her in."

The portrait opens up and I walk in. I turn around to see who helped me to be met by a tall Weasley twin.

"Thank you George."

"How do you know I'm not Fred?"

"Your nose is just slightly longer than your brother's. Plus your voice is just slightly deeper."

"Fair enough, I'm also the more attractive of the two."

"That one is up for debate. I will not confirm nor deny to fill up either ego."

"You know I'm right."

I shake my head and continue my journey into the common room. When I enter the comfortable room I see three figures sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace. I instantly know who they are and walk up behind them.

"Hey guys, what's going on?"

Harry turns to me and I see sadness in his green eyes.

"I think Sirius Black is after me."

I put a gentle hand on Harry's shoulder.

"Harry trust me, if he's coming to get anyone, it's going to be me."

"What do you mean Mirabella? You're one of the nicest people here. Why would someone evil like him come after you?"

I pull up a chair infront of the trio and take a big deep breath.

"Because Sirius Black is my father."

Hermione looks genuinely confused, Ron hangs his head low, and Harry looks petrified.

"Sirius Black never got married."

"You're right. He didn't. He and my mum never got married. My mum passed away when I was very little. Dad was taken to Azkaban when I was 4. Someone wiped my memory so I didn't know until Molly told me about two months ago. He's here trying to reunite with me and take me with him. I don't know how he got out but he did. I don't think he's coming for you Harry."

I didn't notice it but Harry reached out and took my hand.

"I never knew you went through so much with your family."

I nod and look around the room.

"My dad was a Gryffindor, he was so close with your dad Harry. Mum was a Hufflepuff and she was such a kind and loyal person."

"Mirabella, why don't you and I go and talk to Professor Lupin? He was close with our dads."

I look up in surprise.

"He what?"

Harry smiles at me and stands up from the couch.

"Ron, Hermione, do you all mind staying here? I feel like Mirabella and I need to do this alone."

The two nod and Harry and I exit the common room. We being making our way down to Professor Lupin's office and I start getting a bit anxious. Harry seems to notice this and stops dead in his tracks.

"Mirabella, it's going to be okay. I'll stay right here for as long as you need me."

I nod at the younger boy and admire his maturity in this situation. We continue our trek and when we make it to the door Harry knocks.

"Come in."

Harry and I walk in and see Professor Lupin sitting at his desk scribbling something down on some parchment.

"Harry, Mirabella, what do I owe this pleasure?"

"Professor, we know that you were close with our fathers. Can we talk to you for a moment?"

"Of course. Please have a seat."

Harry and I sit in two chairs in front of Professor Lupin's desk and look at the teacher.

"Who shall I talk about first?"

"How close were the three of you?"

"There were four of us actually. We all had nicknames for each other. I was Moony, Sirius was Padfoot, James was Prongs, and then there was Wormtail. We pulled pranks all the time, we were always together. That was, until we graduated. Lily and James got serious, Wormtail took a turn for the worst and Sirius kind of disappeared. I suppose the reason he disappeared was because he had met your mum, Mirabella, and decided to get serious with her. Harry, when your parents died, I immediately went to Sirius and we were going to come and get you. By the time we got there, you were gone. When Padfoot was taken to Azkaban I thought Mirabella was going to be sent to the Weasleys' burrow. I'm so grateful to see you both here doing so well. Mirabella, your father would be so proud of you. He always knew you would be a Hufflepuff just like your mum. Him and I wrote each other for months before they took away his communication privileges. When I found out he escaped I knew he was going to try and find you two. I have not heard from him at all. With all this mess going on right now I would stick close together you two. Take refuge in each other. Anything else you would like to know?"

"Do you think my dad did it?"

Professor Lupin shakes his head.

"No, because I was with him that night. We know who did it and who framed him. We just need to get him to confess. Now, it is getting quite close to curfew so I believe it's time for you two to head to your common rooms."

Harry and I stand up from the desk and start walking away. When we make it back to the common room we say our goodbyes and go to bed.
