I was just getting back into the castle from a successful quidditch practice with Gryffindor and I see a bunch of people standing by the kitchens. I walked over there and saw someone created a contraption to permanently tickle the pear on our house portrait. I immediately pushed all of the students out of the way. 

"All of you that are not a member of Hufflepuff house must vacate the area immediately." 

The kids dispersed and I got rid of the tool that was tickling the pear. I told the students around me to not come in until I tell them it's okay. I slowly walk in to the common room and I don't see anything out of the ordinary. I go up both set of stairs to make sure no students were inside or harmed. I go up the set of steps for the females and I see the head girl bedroom door has been opened. I slowly walk in and look around. Nothing seems like it's been taken or tampered with. I was about to go tell the students it's fine to come in when I see a note on the desk. I go and pick up the note and was scared once I saw what it said.

After ensuring that no one was in the common room I let the students go back in there. After the kids are safe I run to the headmaster's office only to find him running up to the seventh floor towards the Gryffindor common room. I follow the headmaster quickly with the note in my hand and I see the fat lady portrait has been tampered with and slashed. I see Percy towards the front of the crowd making way for professor Dumbledore and I see him audibly gasp. Dumbledore dismisses everyone and Percy finally sees me.

"Hello love, whatcha got there?"

"A note...someone broke into the Hufflepuff common room and left this note in the head girl bedroom."

I hand the note over to Percy and he reads it.

"Mira. You need to tell the headmaster about this."

"I know. That's why I came all the way up here. Do you think the same person who tried to break into Gryffindor tower is the same person who left me this note?"

"I'm not sure. We'll have to discuss it with Dumbledore."

After Percy hands me back the note I watch as Dumbledore tries to find the fat lady. He finds her and she informs Dumbledore that Sirius Black is in the castle. My heart drops. That man may be my father but according to the Wizard council he has done awful and terrible things. After the situation is settled I catch the headmaster.

"Professor Dumbledore. I need to speak with you." 

The headmaster spins on his heel to see me.

"Yes, I need to speak with you as well."

Dumbledore and I head toward his office and once we're safely inside he casts a silencing spell to make sure no one else hears our conversation.

"Professor, someone broke into the Hufflepuff common room and left this in the Head Girl bedroom."

I give the note over to Dumbledore and he reads it over.

"Miss Foxe. Are you aware of who sent you this?"

"I believe it was my father."

Dumbledore nods.

"If you see him or he tries to get into contact with you, notify me immediately. Understood?"

I nod and Dumbledore lets me leave his office. Once I leave with the note in my hand I set the note aflame. I didn't want physical proof of what was happening. As I watch the flames die I hear the words dance around in my head.

I will find you. You're mine.
