The next morning all the kids were told we had all day to make sure we were completely packed and prepared for the trip to Egypt. Molly and Arthur told us they were going out to get some last minute supplies before we left tomorrow morning. I was in my room packing everything I needed when I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in."

"Hey Mira, I need your opinion on something."

I turned around to see George looking at me sheepishly.

"Hey Georgie. What's up?"

George came over and sat on my bed. 

"How should I go about telling a girl I like her?"

I look at George and see he's blushing ferociously. I giggle slightly and go to sit next to him.

"Well it all depends on the girl. If it were me, I would like for a guy to just come out and tell me that he likes me. You could owl her and tell her how you feel if a face to face interaction makes you nervous. When school starts again you could always bring her flowers and chocolates. That's just some options for you."

"Thanks Mira. I think I'll wait until we go back to school to tell Angelina that I like her."

"Aw that's precious. You and her would be so cute together."

George blushes again and I nudge him on the shoulder gently.

"I've never seen you like this. You must really like this girl."

George nodded and thanked me for the advice again. I laughed at him and he left my room without another word. I shook my head at the lovestruck boy and went back to my previous task. I had my stuff finally packed and decided to reward myself with a snack and a nap. I went down to the kitchen and grabbed a muffin from breakfast this morning and went back up and sat on my bed. I made sure not to get any crumbs in my bed and when I finished off the muffin I curled up in bed and took a nap.

I overheard the conversation with George and Mirabella and I felt bad about it but at the same time I now knew how to tell Mirabella that I like her. I was still trying to decide what to get Mira for her birthday. I decided that I would see what was in Egypt and what caught her attention. I went to bed that night finally packed and ready for this trip with my family.
