~Mira's POV~

Percy and I get home and I notice he's got something on his mind.

"Perc? Is everything okay?"

Percy is snapped out of his thoughts and he smiles at me.

"Mira. You remember when I was going to tell you something this morning?"

I nodded in response and Percy took a deep breath and started scratching the back of his neck.

"Listen Mira, I know you've been through so much in the past two years but I want you to know that no matter what I say you will always have me in your life. You will never lose me. Even if you don't feel the same way. I've been hiding this for so long because I was always so afraid of your rejection but now I'm not afraid. I want you to know that-"

"I love you too Percy."

Percy stops in the middle of his monologue and hugs me tight while picking me up. After he puts me down he keeps his arms around my waist and I move my hands to his shoulders. Percy just looks at me with nothing but happiness and love. I smile up at him and he leans down to kiss me. It was just as magical as when we kissed for New Years. The fireworks, the sparks, everything was all there. Percy and I finally pull away from each other and just can't stop smiling.

"Mira, will you please be my girlfriend?"

I don't say anything in response. I just nod and kiss him again. Percy chuckles into the kiss and kisses me back. After we pull away from the kiss we end up sitting on the couch and cuddling while talking and laughing like nothing has changed.

~Percy's POV~

She said yes! I can't even explain how happy I am right now. She's my girlfriend officially and now I get to finally say she's mine. Her and I stay snuggled on the couch and talking like nothing has changed. We exchange occasional "I love you"s and eventually she starts to get tired so I take her up to bed and tuck her in. I go back downstairs and wait for the family to come back home. Mum, dad, and Bill are the first to come back and the others aren't too far behind. We exchange greetings and I tell them Mira went to bed. The family then starts planning Mira's birthday which is just a couple weeks away. We decided to take a day trip up to Greece (since it's her favorite ancient civilization) and have her spend the day however she wants to. Bill said he'll make sure he's off on Mira's birthday so the whole family can be with her. I decided not to tell everyone about me and Mira without having her here with me. I know they'll all be happy about it but I want Mira there with me when I tell everyone. After we finalized all the details for Mira's birthday everyone decided to head to bed. When I made it up to my room I see Mira had changed into some pajamas at some point. I changed into some pajama pants and a tee shirt and cuddled up to my new girlfriend, my first girlfriend.
