ten more reasons ~ ghost b.c

dont let it get in the way.

"guys i cant find my shoes!" i say as i turn my dressing room upside down looking for them "chris!" i call him as i walk past a few people and i bump into his chest "jesus- what's wrong?" he asks through his mask

"i cant find my shoes!" i can see his eyebrows raise a bit and he grabs my hand "let's go find them, have you checked the clothes hanger thing? where everyone else keeps their shoes at the bottom?" he asks and i nod my head

"have you checked sophie's dressing room? i know you two get shit mixed up all the time"  "i'll go check, see you on stage!" i say quickly as i walk around crew members and go to sophie's dressing room

"soph-" i stop short as she stands in the door way with my shoes in her hands "here hun" she says with a smile and i take my shoes from her and quickly put them on "hurry up ladies!" we hear tobias say in his cardinal accent "he's fired up tonight" sophie tells me and i smile excitedly "lorraine let's get a move on!" i hear jutty tell me and i peak my head out

"anyone seen per?" i ask and chris smiles at me "i don't know he's your boyfriend" he coos and makes kissing noises like a child "leave her the hell alone" cosmo tells chris as he passes by "thanks cos" i yell as i walk into the dressing room to grab my ghoul mask.

i place it on and start following everyone under the stage "where's mountain" sophie asks and right on cue he comes running down the hallway with per following behind him slowly "here here here" he says excitedly. he hands me a mug with hot tea and i knit my eyebrows "how did you not spill it?" i ask and he shrugs his shoulders.

i take a few sips under my mask and we all semi huddle together "okay, first show of the ultimate tour named death starts within minutes and we're going go out there and... kick some ass? yes? right" tobias jokes around and we all laugh

"alright, you guys are on" a team member holds the curtain open for us. i take one last sip of my tea and make my way to the stage. the intro song to our album prequelle titled ashes plays as we all take our spots on the stage.

i look around at everyone getting comfortable in their place, per looks back at me as my spot is right behind him, but up on the steps. he puts a thumbs up and i nod my head as i stand with my hands behind my back. mountain starts on the drums as we start the song rats.

tobias starts the vocals and everyone starts playing. per on the left, chris on the right, cosmo in the middle, jutty and i up towards the back on backup vocals and sophie on keyboard and occasional tambourine alternating between us three.

it wasn't long before we finished rats and quickly went into absolution. my in ear pieces were doing fine until i couldn't hear anything. i take the left in ear piece out and look back at the tech guys signaling i couldn't hear anything.

two guys quickly run up behind me and start messing with the small box hooked onto my belt. luckily things were fixed in time for my que during absolution. chris looks back at me and i give him a thumbs up discreetly signaling all was fixed.

we all did the live version of devils church and followed up with the ghouls guitar battle. chris was playing quite good until per was being a show off for the crowd. we all act and joke around as chris gets discouraged.

per looks back at me in character and shrugs his shoulders not knowing why chris was upset. the two stand in front of each other, chris takes his guitar pick and throws it at per's chest. chris goes back to his spot and plays another small part on his guitar earning louder cheers from the crowd.

it goes silent and per starts playing the opening riff to cirice. the crowd grows even louder than before, per looks over to chris and flips him off. song after song we finally get to mummy dust, everyone's favorite of the night.
