i give a small round of applause to everyone as they all stand around one of the dressing rooms. they were already changed and ready to leave "you guys did great!" i say proudly and sophie pulls me into a side hug

"wasn't the same without you up there" tobias points at me. i shrug my shoulders and give him a bleak look "i'll be back for the last show.. i'm pretty positive i'll be better by them" i look around at everyone and per stays quite while sitting on the couch

"well.. do you guys want to go back to the hotel? or a bar? or a club-" "hotel" everyone says collectively at jutty who suggested it. we all grab our stuff and start walking back to the hotel. per and i walk together a bit behind the group as they are all tangled in a conversation.

i take the pick out from my jacket pocket and hold it up so we can both see it. he laughs under his breath as i put it back "no comment" he tells me and i smile up at him "i might make something out of it, like a necklace or an earring... not sure yet" he looks over at me

"that's... the cheesiest thing you've ever said" he tells me and i nod my head "oh trust me i know" i laugh out "it's just a guitar pick?" he asks me quietly, but confused. he was right.. it was just a guitar pick, but it was his guitar pick

"raine!" jutty catches my attention and he throws me my vape back. i catch it and take a hit "don't dodge the question" per tells me and i sigh, trying to hide my smile "don't make me get all.. girly and giggly" i mumble and he actually laughs out loud

"because i gave it to you?" he asks and i nod my head "i wanna talk when we get to the hotel" he tells me and my eyes look to the ground. i squeeze his hand before i quicken my pace and join the rest of the band.

"sophie" i whisper and she looks at me "i need to talk to you" i say and she nods her head "per said he needed to talk to me when we get to the hotel... should i be freaking out?" i ask and she looks at me somewhat confused

"i wouldn't? per never gets mad so i don't think there's anything to be mad about- he said he wanted to talk to you?" she asks and i nod my head also confused "maybe this is going to be the talk where you two get your heads out of your asses and finally-" "okay okay shut up" i tell her and she laughs playfully

"i agree with soph" chris tells me and i look over at him "a and b conversation so-" "how old are you five?" chris asks and i put my fingers out in a pinching motion "i will pull your nose ring" i tell him and he shuts up

"well we're going to the floor reserved for us and partying so we'll see you guys up there" hayden tells me as we walk into the hotel and i go for the elevators, per follows behind me and we stand in silence as we wait for the elevator

"you're making me nervous and i never get nervous" i tell him and he places his hands on my shoulders, still standing behind me "well i'm nervous and i'm never nervous" he tells me. we walk into the elevator and stand across from each other

"you're the most even tempered person i know and you're nervous?" i ask and he nods his head "i think after this... talk" i eye him slightly "i might go back to the coffee shop and grab some tea, then i'll meet everyone up there" i tell him.

we get to our floor and start walking to my room "so i just... i think that it's about time we talk about.. this" he motions between the two of us as i open the door. we walk into the cold room and i shut the door behind us "okay.." i say cautiously and he pulls me by my hand closer to him.

he puts his pointer finger under my chin and his thumb in the middle of my chin, tilting my head up slightly so he gets a better look at me. he looks from my eyes to my lips, then before i knew it his lips were on mine.
