The sun shined bright over Jump City as the citizens went about their day as peaceful as ever. Children rode on busses, returning home from school. People coming to to from work left the streets especially crowded. However, the day seemed as peaceful and normal as any other day.

That as until a large explosion sounded downtown, blowing the front out of a large bank, knocking several of the front pillars into the street. The perpetrators were inside, armed with heavy machine guns while a heavy armored truck backed in through the hole in the wall.

"Load it up, quickly!" One of the men shouted as he aimed his weapon at the frightened citizens inside. "We have two minutes! Let's go!"

The man's subordinates formed a line, through the back of the bank, passing bag after back full of cash into the back of the truck, until finally climbing into he back, and leaving the rest in the vault.

"You sure we can't fit any more?" One of them, asked to their leader.

"We can't take too long." The leader replied, shutting the back doors, before the truck sped away. "Can't risk the Titans coming."

Suddenly they heard machine gun fire from the front seat as the truck began to swerve from side to side.

"What's happening?" The leader shouted into his ear piece.

The other men didn't answer for several seconds, before all of the men were thrown hard against the wall from the impact of the truck stopping in its tracks. They all groaned in pain, before tumbling out the back doors. The citizens all ran away as fast as they as the team stumbled out, trying to gather their bearings. As the leader turned around, he noticed a thick net of webbing, stretched across the street, keeping their truck from moving any further.

"It's Spider-Man!" One of them shouted, before being webbed straight up.

Two more were snatched from where they were standing and were left dangling from the light posts, wrapped in webs.

"Bank robbery." Came a voice from above. "Glad to see you guys going back to to classics. Makes my job much easier."

The all turned to where the voice came from. As soon as they did, Spider-Man swooped in and grabbed two more men, webbing them to a nearby wall. The remaining men fired a barrage of bullets at him, which bounced off his Spider Armor. He then let himself touch touch ground, still tanking the bullets.

Then he shot a triple web line and pulled the weapons from their hand.
One of the men immediately, punched Peter in the back of the head, doubling over in pain after doing so. Then he took a sharp elbow to the face. The leader backed toward the truck as Spiderman blocked several blows from the last subordinate. He climbed into the back and grabbed a grenade launcher from amongst the bags of cash.

As Peter knocked out the final thug, the leader pulled the trigger. Peter's Spider sense kicked in and he immediately leaped into he air to dodge the explosive round. Then he webbed the round in midair and threw it straight up. His sense alerted him again and he narrowly dodged another shot in midair, which exploded against a nearby building. Peter perched atop a light post as his tingle alerted him, once more. As large chunk of the building began to break away, a mother ran out the front door, clutching a young girl in her arms.

Thinking quickly he engaged his mechanical spider arms and slung himself to them with lightning speed. He held all six of his arms up, ready to catch the rubble, and bracing for impact.

Much to his surprise, the impact never came. "No? Not gonna crush me?" He glanced up and saw the rubble levitating above above head, engulfed in a yellow aura.

He glanced to his left and in the distance, he saw a young blonde girl in beige sorts and a black shirt. Her arms extended over her head and her eyes glowed yellow.
