The Titans returned to the tower later that night, still sore from the battle and shaken up from the result.

"Okay everyone." Robin said with a sigh. "I think this calls for a well deserved day off."

"I didn't know that was even a question." Peter replied with a smirk.

Suddenly, they stopped as they entered the living room to see Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman already standing there in front of them, much to everyone's surprise.

"Glad you can make it!" Peter casually chimed as they approached the Justice League members. "Unfortunately you all missed the party."

"We came as soon as we heard about the explosions." Superman explained.

"Yeah well, don't bother." Robin shook his head with a grumble. "We handled it. Some of us got hurt." He looked back to Peter. "But we pulled through."

"What happened exactly?" Batman replied.

"Deathstroke happened." Cyborg replied. "Got his hands on a special serum that made him stronger."

"What kind of serum?" Batman asked suspiciously

"It was MY fault." Peter stepped forward. "I think... He reverse engineered it from something that came from MY universe."

"So you're saying you escalated the situation." Batman replied, peering at him challengingly.

Robin immediately stepped between them and stared back at Batman steadfast. "We couldn't have done this without him. Peter's one of us and he has MORE than earned his place."

Superman and Wonder Woman shared looks in response to the boy wonder challenging Batman, who seemed unphased.

"You guys didn't need to come here." Robin replied, waving them off. "If you planned on helping, you missed your chance. If we need the league... We'll call."

Batman peered back at his apprentice, who did not back down from his challenging gaze.

"Very well." Batman finally replied and turned away. "I guess there's nothing left to say."

"Actually there is... I've been thinking Robin replied, causing Batman to look back at him. Robin glanced to Peter, who gave him an encouraging nod, before the boy wonder looked back to his mentor. "It IS a little weird that there's TWO Robins... So I've decided to resign as Robin."

Batman didn't say anything at first and stared back at Robin in silence, before replying. "Are you sure?"

"Let's face it. I'm not a side kick anymore." Robin replied, glancing at Peter with a grin, before looking back to Batman. "From now on... You can call me Nightwing."

Superman smirked at the name and he and Wonder Woman gave a nod. Batman nodded at Robin before the two shook hands. "Very well... Nightwing."

Superman approached Peter and the two shook hands. "You must be one hell of a hero." Superman smirked. "To make Dick stand up to Bruce like that.

Peter chuckled at that. "Nice to see you again, Clark." As he and Wonder Woman walked out the door.

Batman approached Peter, peering at him with suspicion. "I guess... If you're ever in Gotham City again... Give me a call... Just stay out of trouble."

Peter rolled his eyes at that, before shaking the Bats hand. "I'll take that as a compliment."

He waved as the three League members walked out of the room, leaving the Titans alone in the living room.

Peter looked to Robin with a wide grin. "Nightwing... I like it." He shrugged.

Robin looked back to Starfire with a smirk and she blushed in return. Then the boy wonder looked back to Peter. "Right? I thought it would be more intimidating than Robin."
