❝ are we TOO YOUNG for
this? feels like i CAN'T move !

softcore, the neighbourhood.

ROBIN AND JAELIN decided to get a few snacks on the way back from school. jaelin suggested the grab n go, but there was a convenience store near robin's house that they decided to go to instead.

after a lot of persuasion and protests, robin finally took the money jaelin had and went inside the store to get the things they wanted. he didn't need to ask, knowing which snacks were their favourites.

"i'm gonna wait out here, okay?" jaelin leaned against the wall on the side of the entrance doors as robin nodded.

"yeah, i won't be long." he told her before walking inside the store.

jaelin crossed her arms and picked at her nails, aimlessly waiting for robin to quickly grab the snacks and go back to his house.

that lasted about a minute before she spotted something in the distance.

she narrowed her eyes and noticed a black object floating in the distance, near the corner of a building. she looked around and saw the area deserted. no one around.

huh, that's weird.

absentmindedly, she started walking towards the object. she was about halfway there when she realised it was a black balloon. she furrowed her brows, not seeing this when she and robin first came here.

she walked up to it and almost reached out to grab it, but suddenly it disappeared from her sight. it was pulled harshly behind the corner of the building.

jaelin jumped slightly at the sudden movement, but nonetheless stayed curious as she walked around the corner.

but curiosity always kills the cat.

she had no time to react. a hand went over her mouth and an arm put her in a headlock. she tried to kick and scream, but a rag was soon brought up to her nose.

she got a good look at the person, it being the strange man she encountered last week. her vision started getting blurry, and the last thing she saw was a sickening masked smile peering down at her.

ROBIN FINALLY RETRIEVED the snacks. there was a surprisingly long queue in the store, so of course it took him some time. he wasn't even buying a lot and he could've easily cut in and paid and went instead of waiting- that's what irritated him.

he walked out the store and looked to the wall where jaelin was supposed to be, only to find her gone. he stopped in his tracks and looked around, not seeing his- the, familiar girl anywhere. "jae?" he called out.

no answer.

he sighed, "jae if you're playing with me, this ain't funny."

still no response. at this point, he would've expected jaelin to jump out and scare him, and the two would be making their way towards his house. but that didn't happen.
