When they heard Elizabeth walk downstairs and into the room, followed by the butler who walked behind her with a tray of pastries and a fresh pot of tea. Both their gazes avert to her with curiosity, though when she spoke up- neither of them really expected her to act like that. Of course Ciel expected her to be curious to why the Trancy boy was there, knowing that Sebastian could only stall her for so long. But she came off rather rude when she asked, leading him to glance to Alois and then to her with a raise of an eyebrow. “What do you mean, what is he doing here?” he questioned. “To me, it seems like he's here for the same reason you are. Which is for my birthday. Now there's no need to be rude, Elizabeth. He's my guest and this is my manor.” he said sternly.
She gave a small pout at hearing her fiancé use such a stern voice with her, but she moved to sit beside him and sat quite close. Latching onto one of his arms as she laid her head against his shoulder, only for him to gently shake her off and say not to hang onto him. “I'm not being rude!” she exclaimed. “I was just wondering what he was doing here is all, nobody told me he was going to be here.” she said. “And isn't he that Trancy boy you hated?” she asked. “He dresses and acts like a homosexual, it's strange.” she said with a small laugh, looking to the blonde boy and then back to Ciel who she remained sitting close with even after he had told her not to cling onto his arm.
The phantomhive boy didn't look very happy after her comments, giving an apologetic look to Alois before he scooted away from her some so that he could face her. Which mean't he was being serious about the situation. “Well, technically I didn't hate him for say. I just didn't care for him very much at the time, I'm not much of a people person.. I prefer not to be bothered.” he began. “We stepped off on the wrong foot, though a few years ago here we settled our differences and found out we have more in common than we thought.” he clarified and then gave a small glare at what she said next. “Ah, Elizabeth. What happened to not being rude?” he asked. “Those comment's were unnecessary. For starters, I don't think someone can ‘dress like a homosexual’ that's someone's sexuality not exactly a style. And even if he was, what does it matter?” he asked with curiosity, which definitely caught her off guard. “I wouldn't say it's strange, I mean yes. It's not something you're used to seeing, but that doesn't make it strange? Someone cannot help who they fall in love with” he said with a small shrug, giving her a look. “Now, how about you go ahead and apologize?” he questioned yet it was more of a demand than anything.
Elizabeth definitely was caught off guard by the blue-grey haired male openly defending the Trancy boy and she didn't exactly know how to respond to that, giving yet another pout. “I was just being honest, Ciel!” she said. “But I suppose you've got a point..” she said with a look of defeat, giving a small sigh before she hesitantly looked to the blonde boy that sat on the other side of her fiancé. “I'm sorry for being rude to you, Alois..” she said. “I just don't want someone taking Ciel from me” she admit. With hearing the apology from the young woman, Alois sat up and had his back against the cushions of the couch. Having a leg placed over the other as he had been sitting there, quietly listening to the conversation and honestly found it quite funny when he saw Ciel push the female off him after she had tried to cling onto his arm. Though with the apology, he rose an eyebrow at her. “Oh, thank you for apologizing. I understand that it's not every day you come across someone with a better fashion sense than you, it's quite common for you to be jealous” he said, a rather sassy tone. “Ah, steal him from you?” he questioned with a chuckle. “If I were to do that, don't you think I would've by now?” he asked with a sly grin. “I may be sassy and a bit of a bitch sometimes, but I'm not the type to steal someone from another. If you don't mind me asking though, if you're so afraid of someone stealing him from you. How come you aren't married yet? Haven't you been engaged for years now?” he asked curiously, looking to her and then to Ciel before back to Elizabeth again, waiting for an answer.
