When I arrived at my house , I walked in and hugged my mom and started crying. She was shocked bc I never cry , I do but not on everything.
A: Noah , son what happened ?
N: m-my friend Dixie
A: what happened to her ?
N: I can't help her !
A: with what ?
N: h-her parents abuse her and I can't help her anymore it's that , today is her birthday and she's getting r-raped from her d-dad.
A: oh my- that's horrible
N: ik ! I really wanna help her mom , but I can't ! I promised her to help her and I didn't yet ! I made a promise that I can't do it ! Please help me mom !
A: don't cry ( wipes his tears ) cmon let's talk about it on the couch ok ?
N: ok
A: but first , go change your clothes and wash your face.
N: ok
I went to my room and did what my mom said . I went back to the living room and sat next to her on the couch.
A: now tell me the whole thing from the start
N: ok. So yk how me and Dixie were right ? Just bulking making fun of each other and like that
A: ok and ?
N: one day I saw her having a panic attack like Tatum used to have . I helped her and calmed her down then we went to the field and she told me everything about her. I told her I'm gonna help her and I didn't.
A: from an advise from your mother , I say that you should help her with making her happy. Don't just try to take her away from her parents. Maybe , take her on a lunch or- isn't it today is her birthday?
N: mhm
A: aren't you going to make a party for her ?
N: we are but at night.
A: then what are you waiting for ? Start decorating the place ! But do your he first
N: I will mom but , I don't feel like it would make her happy.
A: yes it would. When she sees that people care about her she will be so happy.
N: ok. Thanks mom ( smiles )

Mom is right , maybe I can't take her away from her parents but I still can make her happy. I'm gonna do the biggest surprise for Dixie . I did my hw and studied for my first exam next week then called Sophie , Bryce and Blake to come over so we can decorate the living room. After 30 minutes, they were ll here. We started decorating the living room and put all the presents on a table . We also ordered dinner and a cake for Dixie. It actually looked great and ik Dixie will like it. When we finished , we sat in the living room together.

S: does anyone know someone called Adam ?
Bl: oh the new kid ??
S: yeah yeah ! Do you know him ?
Bl: yeah he's my partner in my English project
