Jennie was worried. I really didn't know what to do. Lisa sobbed in the midst of crying and trembled compulsively, looking around as she hugged her own body; Maybe it was a way to feel safer.

"Lisa..." Jennie murmured, approaching the hazel-eyed girl to touch her face. However, Lisa quickly dodged the touch.

Jennie took a deep breath and pulled out her phone in her pocket, quickly typing in the password and trying to open the app that might be one of her last hopes.

"Look, Lili," Jennie said as she placed her cell phone in front of her own face. "Now I'm a dog! See?"

That seemed to get the hazel-eyed girl's attention, for as soon as she heard Jennie's excited tone, she looked up and looked at the cell phone screen. Jennie's face, in the picture, was with the ears and nose of a dog.

"Puppies ha-go oof." Lisa said, slowly approaching the girl. "Lisa...L-Lisa wants to be a p-a puppy too."

"Who wants to be a puppy too?" Jennie asked calmly, pulling Lisa closer to her. The girl seemed flustered, letting out a breath as she bit her lip."Smooth." The hazel-eyed girl repeated.

Jennie shook her head, clicking her tongue, "Try again Lili."

"Uh" The short-haired girl slumped her shoulders, looking at the ground, "I want?"

"Almost," Jennie smiled gently, watching Lisa move her fingers, seeming to think deeply.

After a few seconds of silence, Lisa opened her mouth but seemed to give up speaking. She crossed her arms and stared at a fixed point in the room, staring blankly at her face.

"Lili" Jennie called, not getting the girl's attention. "Oh come on, we we're doing so well..."

Lisa clenched her fists and something seems to scare her, as she eventually scrambled to Jennie's side, snuggling into the brown-eyed body.

"Hey, what's up?" Jennie asked pulling the girl closer to her.

"Na-Nayeon" Lisa replied, hiding her face in the crook of Jennie's neck.

The simple act made Jennie freeze and hold her breath, she had Lisa so close that it caused chills.

"Who is Nayeon?" The brown-eyed girl asked gently lifting Lisa's face.

The girl fixed her hazel eyes on the ground and simply took Jennie's hand, using it to make imaginary pictures on the ground.

"Nayeon said l-that Lisa is stupid," Lisa said in a whisper, squeezing Jennie's hand a little more.

"You're not stupid, Lili." Jennie said, holding both Lisa's hands in here and doing a light stroking. "You're very smart, actually."

Lisa's cheeks turned red and filled with an embarrassed smile, which partially showed her little teeth.

Jennie smiled involuntarily, feeling her heartbeat suddenly jump out of its usual rhythm.

"Can you tell me who Nayeon is?" Jennie tried again.

Lisa lifted her face, and for a second, her eyes surprisingly kept in contact with Jennie's. Without answering, she snuggled back into Jennie's body and pulled the sleeve of the younger one's blouse towards her.

"Puppy, N-Nini." Lisa asked, pushing Jennie's cell phone away.

"Oh yeah." Sighing, Jennie unlocked the device and brought it to face level with both of them.

A laugh from Lisa filled the room as she watched the app's filter transform her face into a puppy. Jennie gasped and Lisa laughed even harder as a tongue appeared on the mobile screen. The short-haired girl did the same, clapping her hands excitedly as she got the same thing as Jennie.

Without holding back, the brown-eyed girl took a photo. She maybe she would put it as wallpaper later.

Lisa rubbed her eyes, getting up and trying to pull Jennie by the arm. Not understanding, the brown-eyed girl got up and followed the older one.

"Dream?" Jennie asked, biting her lip. "Don't you want to eat anything?"

Lisa snorted and practically fell onto the bed, falling sprawled across the blue and green blankets.

Jennie, trying not to be carried away by Lisa, picked up the phone to check the time but ended up getting distracted and Lisa managed to pull her, making her fall on top of her body.

Lisa started laughing and Jennie joined her, rolling from side to side on the bed. The short-haired girl stopped laughing and rubbed her eyes, snuggling to the side of Jennie's body.

A bit uncomfortable, Jennie wrapped an arm around Lisa's shoulders and pulled her closer to her, making the girl practically purr.

Jennie felt Lisa's hands slide down her arms, ending up grabbing the sleeves of her blouse.

"Nini" Lisa seemed to remember something. Jennie looked at her, waiting for her to continue. "Dad?"

Jennie swallowed, feeling her body go rigid with tension, "Can't you wait until tonight?"

"Because?" Lisa wanted yo know, rubbing her eyes again, though a smile was born on her lips. "Lisa's dad will be back tonight?"

"Let's say yes," Jennie mouth twisted, knowing she was going to regret it later.

Lisa murmured happily and used Jennie's hands to cover her eyes.

"What are you doing?" Jennie asked confused.

"Sleep so that no-night comes soon."

Jennie closed her eyes, sighing heavily.

The girls woke up to a crash of thunder.

Jennie only placed her hand on her chest to try to recover from the shock as Lisa squeezed her eyes shut, covering her ears with her hands.

"N-Nini." Lisa spoke in a small voice, hiding her face in the brown-eyed girl's neck.

Jennie could feel the frantic rhythm of Lisa's heart against her chest, and that was just one of the factors that told her that Lisa was terrified.

"Shhh, it's all good, Lili" Jennie said, hugging the hazel-eyed girl out of instinct. "I got you, nothing will hurt you."

"The N-night has arrived yet?" Lisa asked, her voice muffled from being hidden in Jennie's neck.

"I think so" Jennie sighed, feeling Lisa shrink against her as another clap of thunder sounded outside, making the walls shake slightly.

"D-dad must be scared, Nini" Lisa said, "Why doesn't he come in himself?"

"It's because..." Jennie pursed her lips, not having the slightest idea what to say, "Stars can't come into houses, Lili."

"D-dad is not star" Lisa said shaking her head.

"Oh, he is, yes" Jennie spoke. "And he's looking at you now"

Lisa slowly withdrew her face from Jennie's neck to look around "B-But Lisa isn't lis-seeing."

"I've already told you, he's a star now. He's shinning up there right now."

"L-lisa wants to see." The hazel-eyed girl said determinedly, getting up awkwardly from the bed.

"It's raining, Lisa" Jennie tugged on the girl's arm before she opened the window.

"B-But Jennie." Lisa said hoarsely, looking down at her feet covered only in thick socks. "L-lisa misses him."

"We're going to see him tomorrow, I promise, Lili." Jennie said, "But only if it's not raining, okay?"

Lisa didn't answer. Instead, she covered her ears again and slid onto the bed, hiding under the covers.

"My God," Jennie whispered, running her hands over her face.

Her phone vibrated in her pocket and she frowned before seeing who was calling. When she saw Irene's name flashing on the screen, she hit her forehead.
