Lisa had never been so bored in her life.
She had already said goodbye to her mother a little over twenty minutes ago with many tears on the part of the oldest. Lisa didn't understand the reason for crying, but she started to get really irritated when people passed by looking at them as if something abnormal was happening.
At least she felt comfortable. She had changed clothes. A kind of uniform. Slightly larger sweatpants and a white shirt. Lisa felt in the clouds just not having to wear jeans that were uncomfortable and didn't protect her from the cold.
"Hey, Lisa. I'm so sorry I kept you waiting so long," Jihyo stopped in front of the hazel-eyed girl, adjusting her coat, "I was just figuring out some things, I'm not done yet, actually. So...come with me, I knew that you like to paint, is that true?"
Lisa instantly stirred. She broke into a huge smile and, still not facing the girl in front of her, she nodded, "Right."
"I'm going to take you to a room where you can paint and play," Jihyo offered the younger a gentle smile as she held out her hand, "Would you like to hold my hand?"
Lisa directed her gaze to the girl's hand and thought for a bit. She limited herself to just holding her wrist. Jihyo smiled, leading her down the long hallways.
The short-haired girl kept her gaze fixed on the ground the entire way. Only when Jihyo nudged her shoulder did she remember to look up from her.
"You don't need to talk to someone if you don't want to, okay?" Jihyo encouraged the hazel-eyed girl, nudging her back slightly so she would settle on her shag rug. "You don't have to do anything you don't want to."
Lisa finally made quick eye contact with the girl before picking up some of the green paint with her fingers and rubbing it on the paper, forming a large smear that Jihyo couldn't quite make out the meaning of. However, she knew that there was a lot of sense in Lisa's mind.
"Lisa, I'll be right back, okay?" Lisa continued to concentrate on coloring and just slowly bobbed her head. As soon as she heard the sound of the door being closed, she took a deep breath before looking around her. The same color tones made her feel uncomfortable. At least there were no geometric figures. They always confused her mind.
[A/N: plus a little something: The geometric figures together, like those pictures that are all mixed up... in view of the majority of autistic people it becomes quite distorted and confusing. In some cases, they may have the impression that they are moving, like optical allusions.]
She tried to focus on the drawing again, but a low laugh caught hee attention. She looked around and tried to find the person responsible for the sound, but without success.
[A/N: Quickie, again skjdkjsk. Most autistic people have some difficulty in identifying the origin of any sound. Unless they have acute hearing, they get confused as to where the sound is coming from. That's right, sorry to bother you again.]
She frowned as she saw a pale boy huddled in a corner, not far from her. He had lovely cheeks, piercing some confusion. She laughed for no apparent reason.
She stared at him for a while, until he met her gaze and stopped laughing. He bit down on his lip so hard that Lisa could see blood trickling from his mouth. He laughed as he watched the blood drip down his arm and sucked the red liquid into his mouth.
Lisa blinked, her stomach seemed to do some flips. The blonde boy squeezed his eyes shut and a low sob escaped her mouth.
A part of her said to just ignore him. The other implored that she would interact and make him stop crying.
