Lisa pursed her lips, not knowing how to react to the situation.

"Stay... calm, okay?" Jennie led her friend over to the sofa, gently pushing her into a sitting position. "I'm going to get a glass of water for you."

Rosé just nodded and buried her face in her hands, shrinking into the pillows. Lisa looked at her for a while and came closer, timidly touching the girl's hands. Once she discovered her face, Rosé was taken by surprise by the affectionate kiss that Lisa placed on her forehead.

"Hug?"

Without even responding, Rosé tightened her arms around the older one, drawing a small sigh from her. Lisa smiled and gave her a few awkward pats on the back.

"You can't let tears hide how beautiful you are." The pale girl hastened to wipe the girl's face with the sleeve of her sweatshirt.

Rose remained silent.

"Why Rosé- were you crying?" Lisa asked, her head tilted slightly to the side.

As Rosé opened her mouth to reply, the sound of Jennie's footsteps silenced her. The Korean offered her a small smile as she handed over her glass.

"Do you want to tell what happened or-"

"I was at the supermarket...I...I wanted to buy some candy and junk for us to eat...I was already in line and there was a woman behind me," she paused briefly to wipe away a lone tear. on her face, "She started calling the guy from the till... saying she didn't have all day to be around these kinds of people, she said it while looking at me..." Rosé took a deep breath before continuing, " The cashier asked her if I was making her uncomfortable. She said there was no way she wouldn't make herself uncomfortable with an Asian near her, since I might...bring some disease."

"My God..." Jennie frowned in disbelief. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that, Rosie...there are still so many ignorant people like that woman in the world...she doesn't even know what a wonderful person you are."

Lisa, who until then had been quiet and still, rubbed her eyes and approached Rosé, raising her hands to wipe away the tears on her face.

"But you're beautiful...some people think you're not beautiful because of your eyes. But if I had the tiniest eyes like yours, I'd still be pretty too," The other girls couldn't stop laughing for a moment. the elder's comment

"Seriously, Rosie. I know it's hard, but try to ignore things like that," Jennie rubbed her thumbs down the girl's back during the hug.

"Your eyes are two stars, they are like little emeralds," Lisa observed. "Two stars that are to always remember the beauty that... her... you inherited from the queens of Asia." She smiled somewhat shyly, doubting whether or not she should join the hug.

Rosé was afraid that her smile might tear her face at that moment. Controlling her tears, she pulled the pale-skinned girl against her body and squeezed until a low screech escaped from her mouth.

"F-force, Rosie."

"You can let go, that's fine," Jennie said, patting her friend's shoulder weakly as she sensed that Lisa's face was already burning red.

"All yours," I speak, raising my arms in surrender.

"Speaking of yours, send Jisoo a message and ask her to come here."

"Chick?" Lisa lifted her face and shot an amused look at Rosé after Jennie's nod. "Rosé's love..."

"Awww, your drawing is cute, Lis."

"Thank you," the hazel-eyed one answered concentrated and didn't notice that Rosé was adding some strokes on the paper, "No, Rosie. No Rosie... NO!!!"

The girls burst into loud laughter as Lisa stood with a grimace on her face, her arms that had previously been resting on the ground now crossed under her breasts.

"Nini!" Lisa called. "D-drawing of Lisa! Get them out of here!"

"I can't leave Lisa alone with you for even a minute because you've already figured out a way to bother her," An indignant Jennie stormed out of the kitchen with a plate in each hand, "What did they do to you, love?"

"I draw," she replied simply as she glared at the two girls still giggling on the carpet.

Jennie stared at the colorful sheet of paper on the floor and had to put a hand to her mouth to stifle a laugh as she saw a Nini of Lili with Rosé's perfect penmanship at the top of the sheet.

"It's not fun," Lisa mumbled. The pout that was previously formed on her lips was disarmed by the sequence of kisses that Jennie applied to her mouth.

"How sweet!" Jisoo rolled her eyes.

"NINI DE LILI!" Lisa exclaimed, followed by a loud laugh escaping from her mouth.

"But she wasn't-" Jisoo was interrupted by a laugh from Lisa.

"Nini from Lili!" I croon, waving the sheet of paper in her hand.

"Oh, you like me?" Rosé raised an eyebrow and the older one just nodded. Then her hands grabbed her pale face and after Lisa struggled a lot, Rosé managed to leave her lip mark on one of her cheeks.

"Bleh!" Lisa stuck her tongue out at her as she tried to wipe away the red stain. "Nini."

"Come here," Jisoo hugged Lisa's shoulders, "Sorry, little ball."

Jennie rolled her eyes and pulled at Lisa's face so she could whisper a few words in her ear. She herself nodded and smirked, turning to Jisoo.

"Go with your girlfriend."

"Stop teaching Lisa the wrong things, Jennie!"

"Nini de Lili is not bad!" Lisa replied.

"Why not?" Jisoo raised an eyebrow, but I didn't expect Lisa to be so quick to respond.

"Because it's not bad if it h-makes you happy."

Silence reigned in the room after the words of the older.

"Girls..." Jisoo sighed, finally. "That saying..."

"That?" Jennie frowned.

"NINI FROM LILI!!!" Lisa exclaimed with her hands held high.

***

Lisa carefully folded the paper, uncertain whether or not the drawing was good enough. In slow, silent steps she made her way to the living room, stopping in the middle of the way as a rather familiar voice reached her ears. Unconsciously a smile was born at the corner of her lips, which faded as she listened to the conversation.

"...she won't find anyone because she's autistic and she's never going to be able to do things like normal people. And so on," Lisa had to blink a few times to get herself to believe that she was really listening to that.

Realizing it, she pressed her hands to her ears and squeezed her eyes shut in a failed attempt to organize her thoughts. With some tears already running down her face, she got a little closer to the voices and quietly watched her mother hand over some bills to Jennie.

"Now go back to work, Kim!" Anne exclaimed, causing laughter in the Korean.

"The worst job in the world!" The young woman responded.

Lisa slid her back against the wall and increased the pressure in her ears, controlling the sobs that wanted to escape from her throat.
