I focused more on writing, won a competition sa school na pinapasukan ko. Won scrabble as well, I'm starting to find myself a little bit more now that I lost the person holding me back. "Ang layo na nang narating mo ate..." bulong ni Gwen sa akin habang sumisipsip pa sya sa Dutch mill na hawak nya. "Oh, I started digital art na rin pala! I'll post some of my works mamaya."
"Oh I see. That's good to hear. Akala ko di ka na ulit nagdradrawing after you transferred yourself to STEM. Must be a busy schedule there di ba?" It's nice to catch up with life with Gwen to be honest. "So...how's your relationship with...seven?"
"It's still fine! Hindi naman kami nagaaway, and if may onti na misunderstanding, we talk about it immediately."
"Good. I don't want you to get hurt by some guy, still, be cautious about his intentions." Paalala ko dito, I don't want her to have the same heartbreak I had with Nikolai. Yung tipong akala ko sya na, but in the end, he was the cause of my downfall.
Nakita ko si Cleo sa malayo at agad ko naman syang kinawayan. "Hi Xerena! Hi Gwen!" Bati pa nito sa amin, syempre. She's holding her usual Starbucks cup. Wala naman na atang bago doon. "How are you both? I heard you're both doing some great things recently ha!" Sambit nya pa sa amin. She sounded proud as well. "Anyways I both got you some cookies sa Starbucks while I was there, I know you both like it kasi!"
"Thank you, Cleo." Bulong ko habang inabot ang cookies na binigay nya sa amin ni Gwen.
"You seem a bit more cheerful than usual ate!" Banggit naman ni Gwen that I noticed immediately. She looks happier than usual. Ano kaya ang dahilan?
"Eh kasi...I'm so kinikilig right now kaya!" Kinikilig si Cleo? Kaynino? Bakit hindi kami aware. "Luhence was talking with me kasi last night eh! And oh god he's so gwapo!"
"Edi sana pinabillboard mo." Biro ko dito.
"If I could then I would! Ang gwapo gwapo nya Xerena like oh my god you should go see for yourself!"
"Not interested." Guys disappointed me several times. Si Lucas na lang naman ang kilala ko sa personal na maayos ang ugali. The rest aren't it. "Anyways...Crush mo ba yon?"
"Yes obvi!" Ah. Kaya naman pala kilig na kilig sya. Napangiti naman ako dahil dito. Serves her right, hindi na rin single si Cleo.
At napagiiwanan na naman nila ako.
"Wow ate, does dad know about this na ba?" Tanong ni Gwen at napahindi na lang nang sagot si Cleo. "You should go tell them...You know, just in case na magkatuluyan kayo nung Luhence na yan."
"I plan on telling them naman if something finally happens like him returning what he feels for me!" Sagot ni Cleo. Mas isip bata pa sya minsan kaysa kay Gwen na mas bata sa kanya. "Anyways...How my little gwen and Xerena?"
"I'm doing good! Just busy with acads most of the time dahil malapit naman na matapos ang school year. Kayo po?" Tanong ni Gwen sa ate nya.
"Busy with acads rin naman but when I get the chance, I always hang out with Silvestre in his bar. That's where I met Luhence din eh." Sagot ni Cleo. She didn't sound like she means it though, totoo ba na gusto nya talaga si Luhence? Or was she just acting? Or she's just not aware of it yet? "How about you Xerena? Found anyone interesting yet?"
"Interesting but not in a romantic way, yes. If interesting in a romantic way then no. I don't see myself in a relationship with anyone yet if that's what you're so curious about." I was telling the truth. Kahit simple ng happy crush, wala ako.
Aromantic na ba ako nito?
"Bakit naman? There's a lot of pretty and nice girls around the school! So why not go for one di ba?"
