Chapter 18(Confession)

Hitomi went back to the classroom to get her math notebook in her desk but to her surprise she saw Ai and Shousuke talking...

(What are they talking about??  Ai chan seems serious. Oh! Is it an confession?? Is she really gonna confess??)

She move closer to eavesdrop but accidentally kicked a bucket. Both of them stopped and looked at Hitomi.

(Fudge! Who the freaking hell put this bucket over here!!??)

"I.. Uh... Sorry for disturbing?"

"..."

" Just to make it clear. I'm not eavesdropping. Bye!"

She said and walk away as fast as she could.

Then came back a few seconds just to tell them..

"You may continue..Gotta go!"

(Wow. That was awkward.)

Shousuke look back at Ai.

"So Uh.. The.. thing is.."

"What is it?" Shousuke is getting impatient.

"I GOT CHOCO'S!!" She said and handed to him.

"That's it?"

"Y-YESS!"

Shousuke pointed at the box which Hitomi made for his fans. So as not to break their hearts.

"Huh?"

"Put it there" He said and Left leaving  Ai chan alone.

[Hitomi who is still there.]

(Ok. I know I told them I'm not gonna eavesdrop but.. I got curious ok!? Even you would do it)

Hitomi was about to face Shousuke to scold him but Ai chan got ahead.

"Wait! Shousuke Kun!" She grab his hand.

(Oh is she gonna do it? Well better leave now.  Or I'll be busted . There's no better hiding place hereTuT)

She took a glance at the two and smiled before she quickly left.

Somehow she felt stings in her heart seeing the both of them. But she don't know why.

"Why do I feel hurt? " She mumbled.

Although she was the one who supported them She kinda regret it after imagining the both of them being a couple.

She smash her head in the wall.

(Why??why?? Why??! I'm the one who supports them. Why am I feeling this way? Maybe I'm just sad? Why am I sad?  Frustrated? Then why??  I don't know what am I even Thinking now. I just think those both will be a good couple. But if those two will be.. I'm left alone now. The Shousuke whom I always annoyed will be sticking around with Ai chan.  and I can't play video games with him anymore cuz I'll be the third wheel! And I don't want that..!)

"What are you doing here?"

(Your head is bleeding)

Said a familiar voice.

"Oh.. I'm just.. — Oh! It's you!"

Turns out it is Shousuke.

(Did he accept Ai's  confession?)

"What do you mean Its just me?? Let's go"

He said in a annoyed tone. Hitomi stared at him looking confused.

"Where to?"

"Where else?"

"Oh.. you mean you and me walk home together?"

(Right. She never said that we'll walk together. )

Shousuke got so used to that he made a mistake.

"Whatever I'm going home"

He said and walk away in embarrassment while Hitomi smiled brightly.

" Shousuke wait! I'm coming too~ let's walk together!"

( Hehehehe He got used to it. )

"By the way..."

"Shousuke..."

"If I may Ask..."

"What is it?💢"

Hitomi once again smiled.

(He knows the drill)

"How is it?"

"What do you mean?"

"The confession"

" Oh.. I turned her down "

"How??"

"None of your business "

She stared at him.

"How??? How???How???"

(This girl.. just can't be still for a day💢)

In the end he didn't answered. And just went towards his home looking exhausted as always.

"What a bummer..."

She mumbled.

But she felt relieve somehow.

(That means I can still play with him! But.. I wondered how Ai chan is feeling.)

[Ai chan at Home]

"Oh you're back si—" Her brother couldn't even finish his sentence because of her scary face.

(Waah! So scary! Did someone offend her somehow??)

She quickly rush to her room and let all tears out.

(Waaaah! I got rejected. Is it because of my masculine figure? Does he prefer a femenine girl?? )

She still remembers her confession.

Flashback:

" Wait! Shousuke!"

He onced look at her with and irritated face.

(Ok Ai.. Hold deep breaths and say it!)

"I..."

"I LIKE YOU!!"

( Yes! I told him)

She shyly look at Shousuke.

"Sorry I Can't accept your feelings"

"Why??! "

" Not interested in romance" He bluntly said and Left.

End of Flashback.

(But even he rejected me. He Was COOL! As expected of an hardliner. Maybe I should train as to slowly heal my broken heart. )
