"Hey girl, so there's this party... you want to go with me?" My best friend tries to get me to go out as always.

"You know the answer Jessi" I smirk behind my current book I was reading on the couch.

"Why do you hate parties?" Jessi pouts as she flops on the other end of the couch.

"Because I don't like people," I laugh while reading my book.

"But it's at the Stark Tower" she whines at me.

I just shake my head at her.

"Please just once can you join me at a party? You would need to wear a dress however we have a few hours, please. Please" she is trying so hard to get me to go.

"What kind of dress?" I asked, looking up at her as I put my book down on my lap.

She gets a little excited "A little formal one, it can be short if you want?" She said looking very hopeful.

I sighed "I don't have any formal dresses so I guess we will have to go shopping." I laughed as she squealed and jumped off the couch. She ran to her room and grabbed her purse and ran back to the living room where I was. I still didn't leave the couch.

"Hurry up Ash." She was running around the house trying to find my keys.

"Jessi we still have four hours till shops close" I stated finally getting up. I put my book on the table in front of the couch and went to the front door. I put my shoes on and picked up my keys and shook them at her in the air. They were in the bowl on the little table we had by the front door. She just groaned at me and came to the front door.

"Where is your wallet and phone?" She asked as we walked out the door. I locked the front door behind us and walked to the car.

I sat down in the driver's seat and pulled my phone out of my pocket and smiled at her. I hooked up my phone to the Bluetooth in my car.

"My wallet is always in the car" I laughed as I started my car and drove down the driveway. We merged onto the main road. I love the fact that I live in the woods. There was no one on the road for miles.

We jammed out to my music as we made our way to the shops across town. We had a 30-minute drive from our house in the woods on the east side of town. I loved living there; it was quiet, and no one came that way. As we pulled up to one of the little dress shops, I started to get nauseous. I hate shopping in person. I ordered all the stuff online; however I know I couldn't order online because the dress would get here late.

I looked at Jessi. "Do we really need to have formal dresses?"

She just smiled and got out of the car. Now she was standing on the sidewalk waiting while playing on her phone like always. I swear she would live on her phone if she could. When I finally joined her, we walked to the front door of the first shop. Still looking at her phone. I don't know how she does that without colliding with anything. We both walked into the shop. I got hit with so many smells at once. Really bothered my nose. Stick to one scent, people.

"Can I help you girls out with anything?" A little lady asked as she came around a corner. She was sweet as Jessi talked to her about what she was looking for. The lady nodded and walked us to a room so I could sit. Jessi tried a few she said Jessi would like. Jessi liked all of them, so I had to remind her to pick one.

"Okay miss, are you looking for one too?" The lady asked me.

Great, now it's my turn "umm yea I would like one like this." I showed her the picture I had looked at when Jessi was busy.
