"How did he get out of the cell?" Jessi sounded very scared. I was right. But what did she mean get out?
"We don't know, but he will not make it down here." Sam seemed certain about that. Did Torren get out somehow?
"Loki please behave and watch Ashlee. I need to get Jessi out to safety." Sam escorted Jessi to a door and disappeared before Loki could say anything. Bruce went to the elevator. Loki turned to me as I stood in the middle of the room.
I shook again. It was weird being left here with him and I can't do anything.
The elevator doors opened, and I heard laughing as Loki whipped around to see who came down. Loki pulled out some daggers out of thin air and started fighting. Shit that's Torren. How did he find me?
"All I want is her. If you just give me her, I will leave, and you all will not see me again." Torren said, blocking Loki's knives.
"I don't think she wants to go with you.'' Loki comes back at him.
I could finally see them fighting. Loki looks like he has the upper hand. Torren whips around and is able to hit Loki in the leg and he kicks Loki in the back and sends him flying into a wall across the room. Torren walked to the room, and I wanted to snake that grin off his stupid face. Torren got to the door and was about to open when he was thrown away. I looked around trying to see who did that. Torren grunts as he gets up. I looked at him and I crouched down and growled as he started to walk closer. I saw movement at the side of my eye and quickly glanced over and saw Loki standing in front of my door.
"Why are you protecting her? I have a feeling you don't like her anyways." Torren stopped about four feet away from Loki.
"It doesn't concern you if I like her or not. I'm certain you will not be getting close to her.'' Loki had daggers in his hands by his side.
The elevator doors opened again, and Thor, Tony and Natasha came running in. Torren smiles and runs to the door. I saw Sam and Jessi go through.
"I will get her just you wait. See you soon honey." He disappeared out the door.
Natasha and Thor ran after him.
I stared at Loki as he moved to the panel across from the room, I am in. Tony went to the panel also. He looked down at it and frowned
"Who turned the switch?" Tony seemed a little annoyed.
Loki just shrugged.
"Ashlee, are you in control or is the dog?" He asked as he walked over to the wall. "If you sit down, if she is lay down." I cocked my head to the side and shook my head. I hate not being able to talk. I sat down.
"Good, why is Torren so gung-ho on getting you back?" Tony asked. He had arms crossed over his chest.
I closed my eyes and forced the change. I know I am not going to be able to be completely myself. I can feel my teeth are still dog-like and I can see like her, so my eyes must be greenish instead of hazel. I grabbed the blanket as my arms changed. I didn't want to be naked infront of them. As I finished the change I stayed sitting on the ground. I was looking at the floor. I was also breathing a little heavy. I hate force changing it takes so much energy. I finally looked up at Tony. Loki was standing next to him now.
"I don't know, he must want to finish what he started." I slowly said. "Where did Sam bring Jessi?"
"To the compound. It has more security and locks." Tony gave me a nod.
I nodded and looked at the ceiling.
"Loki, I need you to stay down here as I go check on the others." Tony didn't even wait for him to talk as he got in the elevator and left.
"Thanks for the help." I whispered. I really hoped he was in a somewhat good mood. He just nodded and took a seat near the panel. I got up off the floor and sat on the bed. I am so tired and naked, so I made sure I was covered as I lay down. I think I'll be able to sleep at least for a little while. My back is to Loki, and I'm curled in a ball. I slowly let sleep in as I listen to the little sounds around me.
