"Brother, how long have you been here?" Thor asked as he walked up towards Loki.

"Long enough" Loki was intensely at me.

My body wanted to go to him. I turned away from him and closed my eyes quickly. Shit.

"Ashlee?" Jessi walked over to me.

"Can I leave now Jessi?" I whispered and looked at her pleadingly. She shook her head.

"Let's see if he will talk." She pulled me near the others. Thor waved his brother over. Loki didn't move. Bucky came and stood near me.

"Loki, I know you felt a shock when you touched her arm. Can you tell her if you want to continue with the mate stuff." Jessi was pointing her finger at him.

I kept my head down looking at the ground. I was trying to ignore the mate bond that is trying to force me to go to him. I hate this. Bucky put an arm around my shoulders. comfortably.

Loki stood glaring at us. "I need to talk to Ashlee alone." He spoke through gritted teeth.

"Loki?" Thor got up to move over to his brother.

"No Thor, if I am her mate then I am allowed to have her talk to me in private." Loki didn't even look away from Bucky and I as he spoke to his brother.

"Ashlee.." Jessi gently pulled me away from Bucky. "Go talk to him." She stopped walking and pushed me forward a little.

I did keep walking towards Loki but kept my head down and listened to my breath. I stopped a few feet away from him and stared at his shoes. "What?" I whispered out. I don't even think my brain can handle rejection right now. My body is on fire. I glanced up a little when he didn't speak. I saw he was still glaring behind me. I heard people moving and then a door closed. I turned around and saw no one was out here. Fuck.

"Well..." Loki stepped closer. "Is that why?" He stopped talking and moving towards me. I looked back at his feet.

"What do you mean?" I was still whispering.

"When I tried to talk to you before." He seemed to be talking gently. Which shocked me.

"Maybe I don't know. I haven't dealt with all this." I motioned around us.

"What do you want to do about it?" He seemed to get his attitude back a little.

"Well you made your intentions clear with me so i'm going to leave and let you do whatever you plan to and i'll be out of your hair. With you not being a wolf, it won't hit you as hard.'' I turned around to walk to the car.

"How do you know how it's affecting me?" He grabbed a hold of my shoulder from behind as I got closer to the car.

He spun me around to face him so quickly I made a little squeal. It startled me. He then backed me up against my car as he spoke. My back hit the back driver side door. And he stood there, his torso was almost touching my chest. His left arm was on the top of the car and his other was at his side. He trapped me between his body and the car. He slowly leaned down to my ear.

"You are a very unobservant mortal." He whispered. I shivered as he pulled away from the side of my face. I really hope he didn't notice that.

"Well when you keep giving me a scowling look all the time or seem to be irritated by my presents. Then yes I would think otherwise.'' I huffed at him. I looked away from his piercing stare.

"Well I didn't know what the feeling I had was now that I know." He put a finger under my chin and pushed it up to have me looking at him again. There was a little tingling feeling again. He didn't pull away this time.
