"Talk to me, tell me how you feel- let it all out and open yourself up to me."

And I did, but after every deep conversation, the tension in the air, unwanted feelings and emotions circulate making it harder than it was before. So, I decided to keep it to myself, like I did before, hide all expressions of my issues, hid all the pain and wore a bright smile; one too bright which blinded them with a lie of 'I'm fine/I'm okay'.

But now, I understood what the problem was and why every conversation ended like that. It was me all along and you didn't dare say a word, yet your actions spoke in louder volumes than your words ever did. So now, I go about my day like the happy girl I was before as pain erupts inside but, in the end, it's all worth-it.

Each ache to the heart, every faked smile; just to see yours, one bright smile and my pain becomes numbed. A new happiness is formed and then I forget completely, what it feels like to be pained in my own body.
