Only I know what it's like to drown in my own thoughts. Be driven close to insanity by the demons created in my head. My nights are never peaceful as my dreams I once used to escape, taunt me with my mistakes and guilt.
And my days are filled with tiredness; misery of my soul. Knowing that it can truly never rest. Can never truly escape again, feel at peace and relieved.
Only I know what it feels like to scream, but no one sees. I want to ask for help, but no one can help. Only I know what it feels like to cry and just can't stop. To cry and laugh at myself because of how pathetic I am. To lay there like I didn't cry my heart out, to smile like I'm not dying little by little on the inside.
And so they say, what troubles can just a teenager have?
