🇬🇷 Anthony's POV (The next day in Greece, The Pappas' family house)
Max: Seriously? - He laughed.
Anthony: Mhm - I mumbled and sipped my coffee.
Max: You need to chill out, man. See? You're so nervous about this engagement that Maria thought you don't love her anymore.
Anthony: Easy for you to say, Max - I sighed and started rubbing my face.
Max: I completely understand you, Anthony. When I was proposing to Lilly I almost pass out, remember? - He laughed.
Anthony: Yes, I remember - I laughed too.
Max: Don't worry about it, okay? Of course she'll say yes and she'll be incredibly happy. You want her to remember this moment for the rest of your life, that's why you're so stressed, but everything will be just perfect, I promise.
Anthony: I truly hope you're right - I sighed and looked straight ahead.
Max: How is Elena?
Anthony: So close to Eric as never before, my dear friend - I smirked proudly and sipped my coffee again - At first I was furious about this whole trip, but now? It's just a matter of time when she'll call me and tell me about her relationship with Eric. I can feel it.
Max: You know that Jake won't give up on her when he finally comes back, right? - He smirked.
Anthony: I'm not going to talk about this motherfucker, Max - I said firmly.
Max: Maybe you forbade Elena to talk about him, but I don't give a shit about it, Anthony - He laughed - There's nothing you can do to me.
Anthony: Yes, I can. I can hang up with you.
Max: You know I'm right, Anthony. Jake will fight for Elena to the very end. They're made for each other, whether you like it or not.
Anthony: It was fully Elena's conscious decision to leave him in the past, move on and forget about him, Max - I said firmly - I told you that my daughter isn't stupid and will dump his sooner or later - I shrugged - Now, she will be happy with Eric and I'm completely fine with it.
Max: Elena will never be so happy with Eric as she was with Jake and you know it - I heard his smile - You're furious at Jake, because he hurt you too. You liked that boy and he let you down because of this whole asshole's behaviour.
Anthony: You're ridiculous, Max - I laughed.
Max: I've known you much longer than since yesterday, Anthony. I know how hard is to gain your trust and respect, but Jake finally did it. After all this time he finally did it and you liked him. That's why you're incredibly hurt now, just like Elena. Honestly? That boy is probably the only man on this fucking world who isn't afraid of you - He laughed - You can threat him, you can be rude to him again, you can block him from Elena, but he won't give a shit about you, just like always - He laughed again - To be honest I miss your adventures with him, for real! I can't wait for this day when he'll be back and start messing with you again. I miss it as hell!
