(S3, E4) MAKE A WISH 2.0

🇮🇹 Emery's POV (The next day in Italy, The hotel)

I pinned up my hair in a messy bun, grabbed my bag and was about to leave my hotel room. I peeked at my watch one last time and I saw it's almost 5 am. Yes, whether I like it or not, I have to admit that morning trainings are just perfect for me, really. After morning jogging I have a lot of energy for the whole day and I feel better in general.

I left my room and locked the door. When I turned back to move to Jacob's room I saw Ezra. Well, it's his training's hour too so of course I'm not surprised I met him on the corridor. I'm sure he heard me, but of course he didn't look at me. Since yesterday he ignores me completely and I simply don't exist for him. He just locked his door too, turned in my direction, but he lowered his head, wore his headphones and walked away.

I just followed him with my eyes, but I didn't say a word either. Well... I have to admit that maybe I miss messing with him a bit, but I'm still too mad at him. Anyway, I'm not going to be annoyed from the morning. That's why I looked straight ahead, grabbed the door handle and entered Jacob's room.

Emery: Seriously? - I laughed, slammed the door behind me and crossed my arms on my chest.

Jacob: Mhm? - He barely opened his eyes and looked at me questioningly.

Emery: Raise and shine, sleepyhead - I approached his curtains and revealed them - The day has already begun.

Jacob: Are you out of your mind? - He mumbled exhausted and rubbed his face - It's still dark, what time is it?

Emery: Almost 5 - I stood in front of his bed and crossed my arms on my chest - Hop, hop. We have a few hours for our training before Elena and Eric wake up.

Jacob: But at 5? - He sat down on his bed and barely opened his eyes - Have a mercy, Em.

Emery: Yes, at 5 - I turned back and started approaching the door - See you in front of the hotel in 10 minutes.

Jacob: Great - He mumbled and sighed annoyed.

I left his room and walked towards the exit. Honestly? I slightly laughed to myself. I remember that a few days ago I was in such the same condition as Jacob. Despite the fact that I don't train with Ezra anymore, I still want to train in the mornings. Not only because it has a lot of advantages for my body and well-being, but also because I'm much more productive. After morning trainings I take some shower and prepare myself for the whole day and help Elena with the case. Thanks to that I'm able to do much more tasks during the day.

While waiting outside the hotel, I just started taking a few deep breaths and just... Feeling the nature. Yes, the smell of fresh air in the morning is something for me, definitely. It's.... A nice feeling, really.

After a few moments I heard opening door behind me. I smirked and turned back and of course I saw barely alive Jacob.

Emery: Not bad - I laughed.

Jacob: You have no coincidence, Em - He rubbed his eyes again and looked at me annoyed - Seriously? Since when you wake up so early?

Emery: So, what time do you start training in DIC?

Jacob: 8 am.
