Chapter 14

Shashank and Sharanya, after lying and leaving, reached at the place where they were supposed to be. The society of anomalous!

It was 10 pm and some people were there. Vaibhav welcomed them. They didn't know what to do next so they just sat there.

"Hum sahi hai na Sharanya?" Shashank looked at her and said.

Sharanya patted on his hand "Don't worry Shashank.. Sab thik hai" She said.

Shashank exhaled and nodded. Slowly people started joining. They were the people who were now good friends so Shashank and Sharanya both became happy.

Vaibhav, who was inside, came out "Sharanya.. Sir bula rahe hai tumhe" He told.

Sharanya nodded.

"Sir kya batate hai tumhe?" Shashank asked "Akele bula ke?"

"Wo sirf mujhe nahi bahot logoko ek ek karke bulate hai" Sharanya said.

"Mujhe toh kabhi nahi bulaya" Shashank complained.

Sharanya chuckled "Jis din puri tarike se devoted ho jaoge tab tumhe bulayenge.. Aur fir pata bhi chalega ki wo kya bolte hai"

"Tum nahi bataogi?" Shashank asked.

"Nahi" Sharanya giggled and went.

Sharanya entered in the room where Naveen was waiting for her.

"Sharanya" Naveen gave the typical smile "I am so happy that you're here. Aur tumne Shashank ko bhi mana liya idhar aane ke liye"

Sharanya smiled back "Thank you"

"Shashank kaisa hai?" Naveen asked "Did you bring him forcefully?"

"No sir" Sharanya said "He's here because he wants to.. He wants to be devoted sir, he is willing to do everything.. Please try to understand him"

"I understand him Sharanya but he doesn't.." Naveen said "But it's okay.. Ab wo idhar hai toh hum usko guide karenge.. Par yeh yaad rakhna ki jaise tum devoted ho waisa wo bana nahi hai.. Wo usi din devoted banega jis din uska haal waisa hi hoga jaisa tumhara hua tha.. Jaise tum pura sharan aa gayi thi.. Jaise tumne mehsoos kiya, the way you cried and opened yourself.. Uske sath yeh nahi hua.. Maine socha tha apne bhai se baat karke uska waisa hoga par nahi.. There's something else which will trigger him and pull him out of his shell"

"Sir kuch na kuch jaroor hoga" Sharanya said.

"Make sure you find his trigger Sharanya" Naveen said "For his own good he needs to be devoted completely"

Sharanya nodded "Yes sir.. I'll help him"

The dancing method of meditation was tonight's task. Shashank looked everywhere. More People should've been there in camp. But there were merely ten people. Shashank counted them, 5 women and 5 men except Naveen and Vaibhav. He felt weird.

Shashank was not feeling like dancing. He remembered that soon enough Naveen will have them smoke the drugs.

Drugs weren't free after first trial! Sharanya, Shashank and everyone else had to buy it with hefty amount of money. But as Naveen had told them that it was necessary to smoke drugs to meditate, they all bought it.

After all, everyone who were selected to become members of the 'society' including Sharanya and Shashank, were rich people. People with very good economic background. But all of them were blind and brainwashed enough to notice anything unusual!

Shashank looked at Sharanya who was happily dancing. A smile appeared on his lips. He felt like he needed what she had. Why was she so happy and content? He was doing everything she was doing and yet there was a difference between their conditions.
