Chapter 10

*Long update*

When Sharanya opened her eyes, sun was shining brightly and its rays were coming in her room from window. She looked at the clock which showed that it was 10 Am. She immediately sat up and felt her left breast burning.

'Ouch' She exclaimed.

Sharanya stood in front of mirror. She looked at her bruise and felt awful. She lightly brushed her finger over it and groaned in pain. That burn was going to leave its mark forever. She came back and sat down on bed. She remembered every single moment from last night. How Naveen told them that they were chosen ones, how Shashank denied to mark himself, How she agreed and most importantly How Shashank held her!

Sharanya felt embarrassed. She shouldn't have let him hold her. She regretted her decision and sighed.

"Sharu utho na yar" She heard Riva saying "Chalo lecture chalte hai"

"Main nahi aa rahi" Sharanya denied.

"Bahar aao pehle" Riva said.

Sharanya stood up, Adjusted her t shirt to hide the mark carefully and went outside.

"Bore ho raha hai hame toh hamne socha hai bahar jate hai kahi" Riva said.

"Riva tumhe bore ho raha hai kyu ki tum Shashank se kam milti ho.. Maana tum raat me uske sath nahi rehti par abhi subah ke dus baj rahe hai phir bhi tum yahi ho" Nidhi said.

"Shashank so raha hai" Riva answered "Rachit bata raha tha ki wo raat ko kahi bahar gaya tha bahot late wapis aaya hai"

Nidhi widened her mouth "Aur tumhe nahi pata hai wo kaha gaya tha?"

"Nahi.. Matlab kal raat gaya tha.. Maine abhi tak puccha nahi" Riva said casually "Aur kaha hi gaya hoga.. Campus me hi chakkar lagane gaya hoga.. Usko hota rehta hai aisa.. Fir wo akela thoda idhar udhar ghum ke aa jata hai wapis"

"Dekha Sharu" Nidhi said "Madam ko kitna bharosa hai ki sir chahe kahi bhi ghume wapis inhi ke pas aayenge"

Sharanya didn't react. Riva laughed "Aisa nahi bola maine"

They heard knock on main door. Riva stood up and and opened it. Shashank was standing there. Riva furrowed her brows and said "Yes. How may I help you?"

Shashank chuckled "I am here to meet Miss Riva Nevalkar, Is she here?"

"No" Riva said "Wrong house" She closed the door.

"Are Riva kya majak hai" Shashank said

Riva suddenly opened the door and asked "Kal raat bolte bahar gaye the tum.. Kaha the?" She cocked her brow.

Sharanya, who was sitting in living room, felt knot in her stomach. Expressions on Shashank's face changed rapidly. He cleared his throat and said "Tumhe kya lagta hai main kaha tha?"

"I don't know.. Main rehti nahi hoo tumhare sath toh pata nahi kya karte ho" Riva said in teasing tone.

"Mastani pata li hai bajirao ne.. Aapka patta cut ho gaya Kashibai" Rachit came there from stairs and said.

Riva was about to retort when Shashank entered in forcefully and put his hand on Riva's shoulder "Riva iski baat ki taraf dhyan hi kyu deti ho? Itni himmat hai kya mujhme ki main koi mastani patau?"

"Bilkul hai" Riva said "Tumhare lacchan thik nahi lag rahe hai mujhe Shashank" She pouted

Shashank chuckled on her cute antics and squeezed her in his arm "Nahi Rani.. Tumko chhod ke kaha jaunga"

Rachit and Sharanya were quiet. Nidhi went aww.

Riva saw nail marks on Shashank's knuckles and furrowed her brows "Yeh kaise hua?"
