Chapter Forty Nine

Crystal

"Hey love, where's your grandfather pala? I haven't seen him and I want to meet him, well, hopefully he will like me for you though." I said and laughed, sitting on Magnus's lap. "He might offer me money just to stay away from you, hahaha."

"Please, you're even richer than me. Your parents might be the one who'll offer me the money in exchange of breaking up with you. They will like offer a billion." he laughed sarcastically making me frown ad glared at him jokingly, pinching his waist making him groan and laughed again. "But on serious note, Lolo won't offer you money just to stay away from me. But if he does, I'll bet that you won't take it and stay with me which I will do for you too."

"Cheesy."

"At least, pogi."

My eyes grew wide and looked at him, unbelievably. "Whoa, where'd you learn that?"

"Here of course, why? Is this the first you heard me say things like that?"

I nodded aggressively and pinched his cheeks. "Yes, omg ang cute mo." I suppress my smile ad happily teased him. He whined and shook his head before caressing my hair, smiling genuinely and beautifully.

"My Lolo is at the manila right now but I can't find him since he didn't show up to me, I'm looking for him and I'm actually getting worried since he's some kind of a criminal and dealer." My mouth agape when I heard what he said, I looked at with curiosity and unbelievably shook my head in shock. "Yes, he is dealer and he do dirty businesses too, that's how he live and did everything for us, his family."

"I understand him naman since it's hard to live in this world, especially in the Philippines where people are cruel and the officials in the government are corrupt making this country poorer. I can't actually stop him since I don't have the right to since palamunin niya lang naman ako. But, he managed so that's why I'm expert at doing this kind of businesses too."

"Naks, family goals."

He laughed as he shook his head, staring outside the window, reminiscing the memories with his Lolo. "I miss him already, I wish I'll see him na. I've been wanting to hug him and thank him for everything. I want to see him so badly and have a talk for days without getting bored, play golf with him and do dirty business together." He smiled as he took a deep breath.

He loves his grandfather so much, the total opposite of me since my grandfather is kind of an evil and is very cruel which made me hate the shit out of him for killing my brother. Gosh, Magnus's life may not be perfect but he surely had a great childhood, a total opposite to mine.

We're a total opposite from each other but his life is better, better to the point that I don't want to ruin it yet I want to stay and be happy with him, live with him and have a peaceful life. Leave everything behind, leaving the money, assets, everything just to be with him.

I'm willing to leave my life and live a simple life with him, here— here in his hometown.

"Being with you right now is such a blessing. You're really worth the risk, Crystal." He said, sincerely making my heart flutter from happiness and teared up in joy. "we were really destined to meet, from the bar, seeing you sway your hips and hair along with the music to being classmates with you, confessing feelings and now we're here, we're together and happy. We may not have a perfect relationship but I'm so grateful for this, for 'us'".

He cupped my cheeks. "We will face a lot of challenges in this relationship but one thing that I can assure you is that no matter how tired, no matter how messy we are, no matter how bad we are, I'll still love you with all my heart. We'll fix our relationship no matter what happens, facing all odds, together." He planted soft kisses all over my face and carried me, placing me down the couch.
