Chapter 14

No One's Pov:

The two had arrived at the cafe where Toni would be meeting up with her friends for the first time in over a year. She had missed them deeply and couldn't wait to catch up with them. The brunette had opened her door, prepared to get out until a hand placed on her arm stopped her. She turned her head to look over at Cheryl who's face immediately dropped at the sight in front of her. Toni's eyes that were once filled with excitement were now filled with only two things, fear and confusion. The brunette was scared that Cheryl had changed her mind about letting her go with her friends and wanted to keep her locked up in the apartment. Toni closed the car door and put her seat belt back on, not wanting to put up a fight incase that is what Cheryl wanted. It was now the redhead's turn to be confused.

"Toni, baby, what're you doing? What's wrong?" Cheryl asked concerningly.

"I- Uhm...I thought you had changed your mind.." Toni responded looking down at her lap.

It took Cheryl a minute to realize what Toni was talking about before she started to feel guilty.

"Oh Toni no, of course not. Remember what I told you this morning?" The redhead finally spoke up. Toni just nodded before replying.

"Why'd you stop me then?" The brunette questioned.

"For this" Cheryl smiled before leaning in, giving Toni a soft quick peck on her lips.

They both pulled back with smiles on their face.

"Now, go have fun with your friends, call or text me if you need anything" Cheryl smiled.

"Okay" Toni smiled back before opening the door and getting out of the car.

Toni nervously walked towards the building, hesitantly opening the door. Her eyes scanned the place until they finally landed on a table where three people sat. A huge smile grew on her face as she walked over to her friends. They turned around as they saw her approaching and immediately jumped out of their seats, matching smiles on their faces.

"Tiny!!" Sweet pea yelled.

"Toni omg!!" Josie exclaimed.

"T! You're here!" Jughead smiled.

They all ran in for a group hug which lasted for a while before they all sat back down.

"It feels like it's been ages since we've seen you!! Where have you been?" Josie beamed as the others nodded along in agreement.

"Oh uhm" Toni faltered, trying to think of a lie before just deciding on telling them the truth.

"Okay guys...I have something to tell you. It's a long story so just please wait to ask questions after everything has been said, okay?" The brunette spoke quietly, tears already formed in her eyes. Her friends all shared a concerned glance with each other before nodding.

Toni was now hugging Josie tightly as she sobbed. She had finished telling her friends the whole story. Everything. They too shed some tears but quickly wiped them as they fell. She had also told them about Cheryl which struck some curiosity in the group but they would talk about that later. Toni had went into so much detail with everything that there wasn't any questions that needed to be asked besides the whole relationship with Cheryl. Moments had passed and Toni had finished crying and was now wiping her tearstained face. Josie returned to her seat. Everyone was quiet until Jughead had finally spoken up.

"I'm so sorry about what happened to you T. We should've known or done something when you stopped contacting everyone-" The raven haired man started but was quickly cut off by Toni.
