chapter 1 wedding bells?

lucius was sitting at the dining table sipping his coffee still in a bit of a daze seeing as he asked sage to marry him last night, he was happy seeing as she said yes but he couldn't help but feel disappointed at himself. he saw sage as a girl who deserve everything and more. she earned a more romantic proposal. he hadn't even gotten her a ring yet.

as he was lost in thought he didn't notice sage come in with her cup of tea in hand. she sat next to Lucius and sipped her tea with one hand and the other she gently placed on Lucius' leg to indicate she was there.

as he felt the feeling of her hand on her knee he was startled slightly but he smiled at her "good morning my love" he said to her in a warm tone. sage smiled at him "good morning lucy" she said with a smirk as she sipped her tea.

he was taken aback for a moment seeing as it had been so long since he'd been called it, hearing it come out of wages mouth made him blush slightly. seeing him react like that made her smile.

"you still get flustered easily I see" Lucius laughed at Sage's remark and pulled her in for a kiss.

it was now later in the afternoon and sage had dozed off on the sofa, Lucius was sitting in his study doing his work and sipping some fire whisky. as he was working away someone came in the door. that someone was Severus.

"Severus, what are you doing here?" Lucius noticed that his eyes were red and his cheeks were stained with tears. sage followed in behind him "see what's the matter?"

severus fell to his knees and sage instantly ran to him and hugged him tightly. severus was in tears and Sage first thought he was hurt but she saw no blood.

"see what's the wrong talk to me" sage pleaded. severus looked between sage and Lucius and said "lily...its lily she's been attacked" sage was shocked and held him tightly

"what do you mean sev"

According to severus a man in a black robe tried to rob them when severus took lily on a date. the first two things that went through her head were, he took lily on a date?! and who would feel the need to attack evens though she was so kind and sweet. yes her sister was a bitch but lily was the opposite she was one of the kindest souls sage had ever met.

sage looked over at Lucius in shock. Lucius stands up "ill go and find out how evens is doing" as he was walking passed he put his hand on Severus's shoulder, "she's gonna be fine severus"

Lucius left the manor and sage sat with severus as he cried and cried and cried

after a while sage helped severus up to a guest room so he could get some sleep.

sage left the room and sighed "poor lily.."
