Sage awoke the next morning and was pleased to realize she was intertwined with lucius who she was officially married to. She always felt so calm in his arms. if she was ever asked to pick her favorite place in the world she would choose him, he truly made her the happiest woman in the world because she was head over heels in love with him.
she sturred a little once she noticed lucius was awake, " are you alright my darling wife?" he asked in his raspy morning voice, Sage blushed every time someone mentioned that she was Lucius's wife she loved it. Sage looked up at him "I am in heaven right now" she said with a laugh as she settled back down into his chest.
Lucius kissed her on the forehead, "we do need to get up soon my love" Sage groaned "Ughh why" lucius laughed "Still not a morning person I see" Sage didn't respond, "we have to get up because you still need to pack" sage lifted her head "pack for what?"
lucius laughed "Our honeymoon darling" Sage then realized she had forgotten, "Oh shit shit shit I completely forgot" Sage got up and stumbled to where she was keeping her clothes.
she began to pack sundresses and some more comfortable clothes, shots, and of course swimsuits. they were going to be honeymooning in bora bora.
"Lucius darling how long have I got till we have to leave!?" Sage called out lucius walked up behind Sage wrapping his hands around her waist "We have as long as you need love the piolet is on standby" Sage turned to him kissing him passionately, "tho I love you I need to pack" Lucius gave a small frown and left her to pack.
the flight was about 19 hours so Sage had to wear something comfortable

she walked downstairs bag in hand to find lucius staring at her in awe, "is something wrong love?", lucius shoot his head no "Then stop staring darling" Sage laughed as they walked out to the car. luckily it wasn't a long drive to the airport, they could have used wizarding forms of travel but they chose the scenic route.
after about an hour they arrived at the airport, it was not at all what Sage expected. they were driven right up to the plane. one they stepped out of the car they met the flight attendant and pilots that would be flying them today. the flight attendant's name was Malissa, Sage didn't like how she was acting towards lucius but Sage shrugged it off thinking she was just being over dramatic.
they boarded the plane and were handed glasses of wine which Sage enjoyed as she was a nervous flyer, only on planes tho, Sage was quite good with her broom. the flight attendant was definitely being overly friendly with lucius and Sage had just about enough of it so she gave the flight attendant such a dirty look it made her go bright red. the woman excused herself and went to sit down before takeoff.
lucius noticed that Sage was a little tense and took her hand in his, "Deep breaths my love it's gonna be fine" Sage rested her head on his shoulder and dozed off. she must have been tired because she slept for about 5 hours.
when she woke up she could hear the flight attendant again being overly friendly with her husband and she could visibly see and feel how uncomfortable he was. when the woman noticed she was awake she left again.
"lucius love are you alright" he nodded "Yes darling don't worry I just- there is something up with that woman.." Sage kissed him "Don't mind that skank, I'm gonna go to the bathroom ill be back in a moment" She kissed him again and walked towards the bathrooms, passing where the flight attendant was sitting.
she closed the curtain separating them from the rest of the plane, the flight attendant was looking down at her book so Sage cleared her throat to get her attention, "excuse me can I have a word" Sage said politely. the woman stood up "Yes of course miss what can I do for you?"
Sage then pushed her against the wall putting her wand to her neck taking the woman by surprise," I see what you're doing out there flirting with my HUSBAND and normally I wouldn't care because I know he had better taste than some desperate whore but it's the fact you're making him uncomfortable that's pissing me off"
the woman was staring at her in shock, "I-I didn't know you were married miss" The woman was trembling, and Sage laughed "Oh don't give me that bullshit it's quite obvious". Sage hit the woman a hard slap across the face "If you speak one word to him again that I don't see appropriate ill do three things personally, ill fucking beat the living shit out of you, ill get you fired, and finally ill make sure nobody on this side of the fucking planet will hire you, not even to be a comment whore, do you understand me bitch?". sages tone was firm not like her usually happy tone "y-yes miss" she spoke in a shaken tone
sage slapped her again "that's ms malfoy to you and don't you fucking forget it", and with that, she walked back out and sat down. "darling you realize I heard all of that right" lucius said with a curious tone. sage went bright red but was interrupted by lucius kissing her, sage laughed "h come on I had to make sure she knew what was mine.
they both slept with their hands intertwined for the rest of the flight. once they landed Sage was still half asleep so lucius carried her out to the car and let her sleep. After about an hour of driving they arrived at the beautiful villa they would be staying in. Sage who was still fast asleep was carried inside by lucius with her arms around his neck.
