Chapter 18 escape

Today was the day she was going to get out of this god forsaken place she was trapped in, she waited till he brought her dinner as he usually stayed while she ate for some reason, like clockwork the man entered the room with her food, he locked the door behind him leaving the key round his neck,

"I have your food" he spoke his tone still cold but sage wasn't focused on that she was focused on her plan, she now realised that the floorboard probably wouldn't work so she adapted to her new plan.

As the man was handing her the tray of food she pushed him making him fall over, she somehow managed to grab the key as he was falling and unlock the door and slip out shutting it and locking it from the outside. She was in shock but hearing the man yell and bang on the door was enough to snap her out of it and start running, she ran down the stairs of the building and out the front door which thankfully wasnt locked, seemed her kidnaper wasnt the smartest, or so she thought.

Once she made it out the door she just took off running, she had no idea where she was or where she was going she just needed to run that was all her brain was telling her to do, run till she found a road or someone so she could call the police call someone get herself home

She felt like she had been running for hours until she found a road, she fell to her knees and just felt relieved she was getting somewhere, tho she was still in the middle of nowhere atleast now she had a road to follow.she had her hands on her stomach feeling the unborn babys small kicks, "ill get us home dont you worry" she took a deep breath before she continued walking, she was wearing a pair of slippers so walking wasn't the nicest but hey being kidnapped is worse

She was hoping to god that a car would drive past and see her, she felt like she had been walking for days but in reality it had only been a few hours because the sun was still setting.

Eventually she saw light in the distance, thank god she thought to herself people. She kept pushing herself to get to wherever that light was coming from, it was a small town, she saw a small pup and practically ran inside, the bartender looked confused

"I thought you weren't supposed to drink while your pregnant eh?" Sage actually let herself laugh before she collapsed onto a chair, the bartender rushed over to her obviously concerned, "woah woah now you alright?" The bartender noticed she was wearing slippers that were all tatttered up from walking for so long "did somebody hurt you miss? Whats your name?" The bartender was really concerned so sage took a deep breath, "my names sage malfoy, I was kidnapped a few months ago"

The bartender's eyes widened "your that missing lady iv seen on the tv" sage was watch what she said as she didn't know weather or not this bartender was a muggle, she felt weak and could only muster out a few words "call the police please i want to go home..."

Straight away the bartender called the police and within minutes the ministry offical authorities arrived, turns out the bartender wasnt a muggle after all.

They brought her to a nearby hospital to get her checked out but found nothing wrong with her or the baby, they told her they would let her go home, she had no idea if anybody had called lucius or not but she assumed they would because who else would they call to bring her home its not like she could go herself...

"Excuse me has anyone called my husband i want my husband" the nurse looked troubled before she spoke, "we have tried but nobody can get through but uh is there anyone else you want us to call?"

Sage didn't have to think twice before she answered, "call my brother severus, surly if you cant get through to my husband he can call my brother please..."
