Chapter 5 let me go

sage awoke with a sharp pain in her head, she looked around and quickly realized she was unfamiliar with her surroundings. slowly it all came flooding back, the shopping the cafe. soon she was filled with fear as she realized she had been kidnapped.

she looked around the room and she had to be honest considering she had been kidnapped the room was decent. it had dark red walls with black wooden paneling. she was lying on a bed that matched the room very well.

the sheets were black silk and the pillows felt as if they were full of feathers. she sat in the middle of the bed with her knees up to her chest gently rocking back and forth in an attempt to calm herself. 

she wanted Lucius she wanted him to hug her and tell her it would be alright and that she was safe, no matter how hard she wished for it it didn't happen. she just wanted to go home.

a few hours had passed and sage heard footsteps approach the door. she darted behind the bed and hid. the door opened with a slight creek 

she heard heavy footsteps pass around the room and then a voice. "you know I can see you back there" sage then jumped up and stared at her kidnapper. he looked very unfamiliar to her<the man saw her confusion and spoke up. "you don't know me but trust me I know you, iv watched you for years on behalf of my boss".

as he said that the door once again opened and there in a long black dress stood Narcissa with a smug look on her face. "well if it isn't the bitch who stole my boyfriend" she spat.

sage was in shock and loss for words, before she could try to respond Narcissa began rambling on about how sage ruined her life and took the life that she was meant to have both her sisters were now married and she was left unwed which made her family cast her out on her own.

once Narcissa had finished talking she walked out and spoke to the man. "do as you wish I couldn't care less iv had my fun just make her suffer then dispose of her I have to go and comfort my dear friend about losing his fiance" Narcissa laughed as she walked away shutting the door behind her.

the man smirked at sage as he held up his wand. the words that left his lips would forever haunt sage, even in death. "crucio" he spoke as sage fell to the floor feeling an unimaginable pain shoot through her. she screamed in pain but no sound left her lips.

all she was thinking was Lucius help me help me please don't let me die... help me somebody anybody please let me go...

*Lucius pov*

he was sitting in an armchair when he got a call from a panicked severus. as soon as he hear sage and kidnapped in the same sentence he felt numb and got back to the manor as soon as he physically could hoping it was some cruel joke, but it wasn't she was gone and severus looked broken. 

he kept repeating the words "it's my fault I should have protected her" over and over again. lucius hugged his friend and began talking to countless people to try and find the woman he loved so dearly. 

lucius was talking to someone from the ministry whose name he did not care to remember. "I can't loose her again". Lucius' mind had drifted back to when she had run off and left him behind. he was not used to feeling afraid for himself let alone someone else. 

tho he was unsure of almost everything at that moment he was sure he would do whatever it took to bring her home to him

hours had passed and lucius was laying in the middle of their bed clutching a jumper that belonged to sage close to him, it still smelt like her, it was a slight comfort to him. after hours of tossing and turning he fell asleep.

he felt someone shake him, and as his eyes opened he saw a woman with red hair in front of him. he was shocked as he saw his dead mother standing in front of him. as he looked around he realized he was in a garden, "don't panic dear your not dead its a dream" lucius was stunned as his mother began to speak and explain everything like how sage could see her and other things.

after a moment lucius spoke up "do you know where sage is?" his mother looked down. "not exactly but I can help you find her, I can feel her energy she is stronger than most in many ways my dear"  

lucius watched as the woman stepped back and began chanting some form of spell until a large beacon of light shot up into the air. as the light engulfed the garden lucius woke up sitting in the middle of the bed sweat dripping from his head.

something seemed different when he awoke. he could feel a sharp pain in his side. then as he came to he realized he was not in his room, in fact, he was not himself at all. he was in the body of sage he couldn't move he could just see what she saw. he looked around the room and recognized it, it was a guest house he had stayed in when he was younger, it belonged to the blacks. moments later he was back to seeing his own bedroom, but he knew where age was and he knew how he was gonna get her back. 

he rushed down the stairs to tell the others what he had just witnessed and to tell them that he knew where she was. they began to form a plan as Lilly and James entered the room with a few other people. "we want to help" Lilly spoke out "the order is behind you all the way just tell us what to do" James spoke giving a sympathetic smile to severus.

Severus felt a twinge of sadness when he saw Lilly's arm around James but her reminded himself that she wasn't the same person she was when she fell in love with him and that it wasn't his fault.
