Chapter 13 don't let him in

As the month passed sage decided not to tell lucius about her new found information she felt it was best she didn't want to worry him, she was worried enough as it was. She was sat in the manor on an early Sunday morning, it was winter so she was wearing her cozy dressing gown and some fuzzy socks, she was sipping on some tea as she felt lucius rap around her from behind making her laugh "morning love", sage felt bad for not telling lucius everything that was going on but she knew if she said one thing she would have to say it all, she knew she would have to tell him soon she couldn't hide a pregnancy forever.

She kept herself busy by taking up knitting and reading more than she used to, luckily lucius didn't question it but she knew she would have to tell someone eventually. She had known for about 2 weeks now the positive pregnancy tests were in her makeup bag the one place she knew lucius wouldn't look and find it by accident, sage had every intention of telling him she just needed to wait for the right moment, she decided to head into town and get some coffee. She walked into there room and saw lucius about to open her makeup bag.

"Hey! Goodmorning!"her voice made lucius put down her bag "hey love I was looking for some lip balm" *sage laughs* I got some in my nightstand *she hands him some* lucius gave her an odd look* "what's going on your acting weird" *sage laughed* "what huh no pfft im not acting weird"

*lucius left the room*

^Lucius pov^

Something was wrong he knew it, fuck was she cheating on him?what was she hiding. She used to tell him everything, his mind turned to the worst, what was he going to do he would be lost without her he needed to find out what was going on,he decided to go and talk to severus

*he sat sipping a drink in severus's house*

Severus spoke,"so man what's going on you look stressed man" * lucius let out a defeated sigh* I think sages cheating on me man. *severus choked on his drink* "what?!"she wouldn't do that would she?" *Lucius had his head in his hands* "I dont know what else to think man she's acting so odd"*severus nods his head* "want me to talk to her?"*all lucius could do was nod*

Severus walked into the manor and walked into the library where he found sage sitting in an armchair

*she glanced up* "oh hey sev what you doing here?" *Severus sat down in front of her and sighs* I'm gonna give it to you straight and I'm gonna be blunt" *sage raised a brow sev was never blunt like this* "sev whats going on" *severus took a deep breath* "are you cheating on lucius". Sage was taken aback "sev I would never I-" severus looked mad "then what the fuck sage!" *Sages tears streamed down her face* "I'm pregnant..I haven't told lucius yet because I don't know how"
