Chapter 14 the truth

severus was shocked, she stared at Sage not knowing what to say,"Say something sev I need you to say something, or I'll start crying more than I already am!" severus took a deep breath and hugged his sister, "Are you happy about it?" sage nods "I know I am but what if lucius isn't.." severus looked at his sister with some sorrow in his eyes "I'm sure he will be happy considering he thinks your cheating on him, he loves you after all" sage couldn't help but let a few tears fall it felt amazing to finally tell someone about her pregnancy, it felt as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders and that she could finally breathe. 

"I want to tell him sev trust me I do but I don't know how I genuinely don't know how iv have never done this before and it's not like I can ask Mom and Dad about it they don't talk to me anymore not to mention it was a different time back then" sage was worried about telling lucius about it and severus could see that, sage was not the type to be afraid of things so severus knew how important this was to her, this would be her starting her family a family with the man she considered the love of her life, she had always been a perfectionist and she knew she had to do this right.

severus put his hand on her arm as a form of support "it's gonna be fine sage you just gotta tell him, it doesn't have to be a big thing just sit down with him and talk to him, he loves you so it's all gonna be fine" sage nods, "could you be there when I tell him?" severus thought about it for a moment, "its probably best if I don't its a very delicate thing and I think he would prefer if you told him without me being there" sage nods understanding where he was coming from, "hey sage...congratulations" severus wasn't the best with these types of situations but he knew he had to be there for his sister and help her in whatever way he could.

severus left not long after their conversation, the day soon faded into night and lucius had himself shut up in his study, sage took a deep breath and knocked on his study door. "lucius hun..you busy.." her voice was quiet she was clearly nervous. lucius looked up as she walked in and sat down "I think we should talk.." sages voice was shaking as she spoke lucius looked like his heart was breaking he was convinced she was going to tell him she was cheating on him, little did he know he was about to find out that his wife the woman he loved with al of his heart the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with was pregnant with his baby.

sage clears her throat, "I know I been acting odd lately...and I think you deserve to know why" At this point lucius was convinced that she was going to tell him she was cheating on him, so to save himself the pain he stood up and muttered "I can't do this.." his tone was cold, as he was walking out sage stood up and just yelled, "I'm pregnant!"

lucius froze s he turned to her, "I'm pregnant lucius...I found out a little while ago and was panicking because I didn't know how to tell you and then severus told me you thought I was cheating on you then I again panicked because I love you so much and..." By now she was spiraling. lucius just hugged her, he hugged her tight and didn't let go. with her face shoved into his chest tears still running down her face she spoke, "I'm sorry I just didn't know how to tell you..." All Lucius could say at that moment choking back his own tears was,"I love you sage"
