I held Eri on my shoulders as we watched the beauty pageant, I kept scanning the crowd every now and then, not wishing for any of the girls to go through what I did or have Eri spectate such activity. Eri placed her chin on my head and whispered, obviously noting the close proximity she had with my ears "Am I pretty?" I hummed and tried looking up to see her "Most definitely! You could beat any of those girls on pure cuteness alone!"

"But... I have loads of scars..." I wafted my face "Is it really hot or is it just me?" I took my metal forearm cuffs off, then removing my gloves, revealing many littered scars from accidents in training or encounters I'd had with villains during work studies, plus the scars that ran along my arms from the faithful day in which I lost half of my family. I stretched my arms up "That's better!" I heard Eri gasp before she said "You have scars too?" I hummed and tilted my head back carefully so I could see her "We all have scars Eri... In fact, my markings are drawn on." She tilted her head and I smiled, moving my head down to go into one of my utility pouches to find my make up touch up materials for incase my makeup smeared. I got a makeup wipe and wiped my face before tilting my head back again, she then brought her hand towards my face and carefully traced my scar with her finger, she then asked "Why do you hide it?" I gave a sad smile.

"Many people consider it to be ugly... So I hide it, so when I have to protect someone they don't see the ugliness that lies within this world... I actually think it's very beautiful, my makeup actually secretly highlighting it." She raised an eyebrow before pointing to her covered arms "But scars come from pain?" I nodded and closed my eyes before opening them and looking up at the sky "My sister, who sadly isn't with me anymore, gave it to me... I don't remember it all that well, we were young at the time, a time in which we make mistakes without meaning to." She leaned her head over so all I could see was her face. "I don't want to ever hurt you Y/n!" I raised an eyebrow and she grinned "I'm young but don't ever want to make such a mistake!" I smiled before looking forward towards the beauty pageant "And I never wish to hurt you Eri, much rather protect you."

"You two should be up there!" I turned to see Mirio, I smiled towards him "I think I'll leave the runway to Nejire." He nodded before turning away from the pageant to put his focus completely onto me "Y/n, I've been meaning to catch you alone for some time now, but you're always caught up with doing stuff for others, so I'll talk to you now whilst you're not running around with Eri... I'm sorry for the way I spoke to you those days ago, it wasn't necessary, but I was annoyed because it just seemed I wouldn't be able to spend time with you, time I really enjoy. What made it worst was I thought Aizawa was forcing you, silly of me, I know... So Y/n, will you allow me to have more time with you by allowing me to take you on a date?" I was stunned.

I've never thought of Mirio in a romantic sense, so I had to ask "As in a friend's date with Tamaki and Nejire or just the two of us on a date-date?" He just grinned as he replied "A date-date, just the two of us." I gulped.

'He looks so happy... I can't shoot him down because that will damage our friendship, but can I say yes? If I say yes and it doesn't work out, what will that do to our friendship? But when I used foresight it showed Eri smiling as we painted a baby room together, me being pregnant. Could Mirio be the missing partner of mine? Well, he does adore and make Eri happy.'

My mind was swirling with questions before I forced a smile and nodded, believing there is only one way to see what the future holds.

'But Mirai didn't consider my partner charming, and he loved Mirio... However, Mirio does tend to be a giant goofball most of the time...'

Me and Shota were making our way to Gym Gamma for we had sent class 1-A there for training. Shota held the door open for me and I was confused as soon as I stepped inside as it was pitch black, I went to reach for my batons in fear that something had happened to 1-A but Shota grabbed hold of my wrist. I looked at him to see a small smile on his face before he dropped my wrist, however I snapped my gaze away as I heard a explosion. Looking forward, I saw 1-A on a stage, a bright screen behind them. Majority danced as others played instruments, Jirou singing along whilst playing the guitar. I raised my hands and carefully brushed my ears, not understanding how they weren't ringing to the noise the performance should be "They've put this on especially for you." I looked towards him shocked "They're skipping their training to do this?" He rolled his eyes and turned to face me "Togata is right, you shouldn't take every lesson from me... They asked me and I gave them permission, plus, this helps their team building and gives me a chance to see what they kept me awake for whilst preparing this." I gave an awkward smile, worried for the punishment that was bound to happen after their performance due to them taking sleep away from the always tired Shota.
