Chapter Forty-Seven

Y/Ns P.O.V

After reading to Eri upon her request I made my way through to the room me and Shota shared. Although we hadn't been together long, it was convenient when it came to looking after Eri.

"How is she?" I looked over to Shota before continuing my shuffling around the room. "She was out like a light." He hummed and sat up from already being ready to sleep "You were in there for a while." I hummed as I began to take off my hero costume "I was close to falling asleep, nothing to worry about." He chuckled.

"My tops over there." I quickly looked around and then followed the finger he had pointed out to see his top. Jumping up slightly I rushed over to it and picked it up. Placing it over my head I then pulled down the one piece of my hero costume and stepped out of it. I was thankful to have a bra built into my hero costume as I then didn't need to faff around in trying to get it off.

Leaving the bedroom I went over to the bathroom, brushing my teeth quickly so I could get to bed. Once there, Shota wrapped his arms around me. Placing my head onto his chest, I nussled into him but with my movement I saw a bruise that sat near his collar bone. I inched towards it to kiss the discoloured area. "I'm sorry." He placed his hand on the back of my head, moving his finger that touched my ear as to stroke it.

"Don't apologize, you were in your fox form you had no other means to tell me you were uncomfortable... It would have been worst if you bit me." I glanced up at him to see him smiling. He then let out a breath "You need to get it changed though. You shouldn't have to feel guilty just because your quirk was named by some stupid doctor who doesn't know his own asshole from his mouth." I laughed slightly before sighing "I don't want to waste hospital time. It's stupid that I even feel this way over such a silly thing. Oh, I'm eighteen and I cry over my own quirk name." He flicked my ear.

"Your age is nothing when it comes to your emotions, it doesn't make them any less relevant so don't think that it does. As well, it's not stupid, especially not with your circumstances. You got the fox part of your quirk from your mum and the hospital called your quirk copycat. You're going to feel as if you've dishonoured her, when it's not your fault... Oh darling, I'm sorry." He tightened his arm around me and began brushing through my hair, which helped calm my coming sobs.

"I should have spoke up back then, I'm so sorry." He shushed me "Don't put this on your younger self, you had lost your family so there's no surprise you weren't in a state to speak up. I'm sure you'd be able to speak up now, if you tried."

"I was there because I wouldn't speak... Hanako would try comfort me but I'd just copy her quirk and order her to go away, doing the same to anyone else that tried to talk to me. She booked the hospital appointment to see what was going on with my quirk as she thought I only had my mum's quirk." He hummed, moving his hand down to rub my back "Well we're at the hospital tomorrow for Eri's check up, I'm sure we can discuss this with a doctor and see what can be done." I hummed, he let out a breath and whispered "It's not stupid Y/nn." I smiled and whispered "I love you Sho."

"I love you too, now get some sleep." I nodded and wrapped my arms around him tightly, bringing myself as close as I could to him.

Eri was with her doctor for her check up, it being requested that we stood outside. Soon enough her doctor came out "Well, everything seems alright, I'll just be preparing for blood to be taken and then you can all go home." Me and Shota nodded, him then speaking "Good to hear, can I enquire about how quirks are named and whether or not they can be changed?" The woman nodded "Of course, are you wishing to change Eri's quirk name?" Shota shook his head.

"No, there is a few complications with the name of my partner's quirk." He signalled to me and the woman looked at me "Oh, well, what seems to be the issue?" I looked to Shota and glared before looking back to the woman "It's nothing really, I don't want to waste your time-" Shota took hold of my hand and squeezed it, interrupting me "What would you assume her quirk name is doctor?" The woman looked between us before saying "As I am unaware of her quirk to a full extent I could only assume it is to do with a fox. Is it not?" Shota shook his head. "No, her quirk is called copycat but as you have stayed she is a fox, an animal that is in fact a canine rather than feline." The woman nodded.

"Yes, of course! Well, for starters I apologize for your quirk incorrectly being named, it should have never been called that. Luckily though there is means to change it, so if you would like to follow me?" I looked to Shota and he smiled "Go, me and Eri will be waiting for you!" I nodded and turned to the doctor, I smiled and she returned the gesture before signalling for me to follow her.

Before long I was at the hospital entrance, I noticed Shota with Eri and rushed over. Engulfing him in a hug he steadied us before hugging me back "Thank you, so much!" He hummed and kissed the top of my head "No need to thank me darling, I'm happy you can be relieved from the guilt." I held him tighter and he patted my back. We separated and he took my hand, the three of us then beginning to walk.

"We've spoken for all this time yet I don't know your quirk. May I know what it is?" I looked to him to see him with a small smile upon his face, I grinned and responded "Swiping fox!" He hummed and turned his head to look at me "Must be right for you've swiped my heart." I smiled and hugged his arm.

Walking into the classroom together had all eyes on us, Iida stood up "We are happy to have you back L/n and Aizawa Sensei, we hope your hospital visit went well!" Shota raised an eyebrow but lowered it when Kaminari spoke "No need to include L/n, she'll soon be an Aizawa anyway!" I felt my face completely warm up, Shota then asked "The relationship between me and L/n Sensei is private, how did you come to know this?" Asui spoke up.

"I was visiting my brother in hospital yesterday, Mina came with me as we didn't have homeroom yesterday." Ashido nodded quickly "Yep, and we saw you guys hugging and being absolute goals near the entrance!" Mineta then spoke up "Because your a fox Miss L/n, will you produce more children and have bigger boobs?" I snapped my head around in his direction to see a flying mummifed Mineta. Ashido then excitedly asked "What's the answer to the first bit?" I looked around embarrassed.

"Uh, there's a higher chance of having twins and more... I think." She nodded eagerly and Shota let out a breath "What is with you lot today?" Todoroki then informed us of what was going through the classes minds "You're pregnant. Ashido saw L/n Sensei rush over and hug you happily." I looked to Shota who had amusement in his eyes when looking at the class now. I laughed slightly before shaking my head "No, but I suppose if you want something to do with birth, I was reborn!" They all looked confused and I smiled.

"The other day I didn't answer any of your questions concerning my quirk, well, it was previously called copycat... I got the fox part of my quirk from my mum and I felt having my quirk called copycat was disrespectful to her. Thanks to Shota I was able to change it yesterday, that's why I was happy because I was released from such a heavy weight." Midoriya then raised his hand, I nodded and he asked "So what is your quirk?"

"Swiping Fox, I can copy the quirk of those I touch, but it has to be skin contact."
