Chapter Thirty

Y/Ns P.O.V

I watched Shota in confusion as he put his phone away and quickly grabbed all the flowers from the back before getting out. Following after him, he didn't utter a word but we reached three familiar graves where two people stood, one being Benjiro Sakai, the other a girl I had not met before. "Aizawa, this is my daughter Akari Sakai." Shota nodded, the girl turned to me "People do not age after death so your sister's will be the age in which they passed at." I nodded slowly, and watched as she then placed a hand on Kyokos headstone, a transparent figure appearing, the figure of my sister.

Akari then moved across to touch my mum's headstone, the same happening, however, when she touched Noris, nothing happened. I looked to her but stopped when I heard my mum say "She's just away adventuring the world, do not worry Y/nn." I slowly turned my head to look at my mum. She came over and placed her hands on my cheeks "My baby, you've grown so much... I couldn't be more proud of the young woman you've become!" I sniffled and reached my hand up to my face, rubbing away the tears that had begun to roll down my face "I've missed you so much mum!" She smiled, a single tear escaping her eye "I know, I watched over when you were all together, but when you gave up a new family for your sister's I returned here, trusting that if you and your sister's ever wanted me to know something that you'd come here... and you do."

I smiled and brushed the base of my palm up against the trail of tears of one cheek "I already have my family, I don't need another." She nodded slowly, then saying "One day you will have a family of your own." I shook my head to then stop and look directly at my mum "It won't just be my family, it'll be yours... Ours." She wrapped her arms around me, not that I could physically feel it but even so it felt good, emotionally. She stepped back and said "Mirai's been telling me that you have a boyfriend, who is the lucky boy?" I let out a breath "I do... But I don't know how long it will last... I don't think either of us understand what we're actually feeling, but I know I don't feel love towards him... I felt it today but it wasn't for him." She nodded slowly.

"You know, me and your father, we didn't figure out our feelings for ages even though everyone around us always made comments, especially teenagers that saw us together when I was supposed to be waitressing... You know, if an excitable teen girl ships you, it's probably a solid relationship... Then if a five year old ships you, that's your prince charming... If you can't open yourself up to these emotions, use what everyone else sees, because they aren't going to wish for any wrong to come to you." Kyoko then grinned and piped up "Mr Mirai told us who you are destined to be with, he said you're really happy with them, and that you don't have to wait too long!" I smiled towards the girl that should be my height but had remained as I last saw her. I then decided to ask "Could you let your sister in on a little secret?" I felt a shiver go through me and my mum laughed "Mirai, you should have really adopted her, she wouldn't misbehave as much then!" I rubbed the back of my head, remembering everytime I'd say or do something that Mirai didn't agree with and he'd be behind me without my knowledge.

Kyoko then smirked "There's still time for her to learn, from a real teacher as well!" I quickly looked over towards her, then pointing to myself with my thumb before pointing at her with my finger and then pointing to the side, she nodded with a big grin. Mum then reached towards Kyoko and pinched her ear, her squirming "Gosh, nothing can stop you two from trying to cause chaos." I hummed and looked around "Yes, but the two of us could hardly create the storm we'd make as a trio... What does Nori find to explore?" I looked back to mum and she shrugged "Wish I knew, but it's not like I can stop her, nothing can happen to us." I hummed and smiled sadly "You won't be forgotten anytime soon, do not fear."

"Oh, Y/nn you're back, with Mr Dark and Brooding." I rolled my eyes and looked over to Nori who was walking over "Shota Aizawa, be polite." She shrugged and I let out a breath, then checking the time "I soon need to be leaving..." I turned to Akari and held out my hand, she slowly brought hers to mine and I shook it "Thank you for allowing me to see my family again, I don't think I'll ever be able to repay you." She just nodded and I turned to walk towards the cemetery entrance.

SHOTAs P.O.V

After Y/n walked away the child that had just come over, followed. I wanted to turn and investigate because it could be something that makes Y/n lose all sense but her mother spoke "Look after my daughter, won't you?" I looked towards her and she nodded "I can tell you care Aizawa... Just don't refuse your emotions because they don't just involve you." I moved forward and placed the flowers that I knew were hers down "I can't accept what I feel, I am not someone she deserves." She moved to stand in front of me, I looked to see her crossing her arms "And who are you to say who my daughter deserves?" I stood from being kneeled to place the flowers down "Y/n deserves someone who embraces life in the same way she does and someone closer to her age... She deserves better than her mentor, which at this time is wrong." She hummed.

"Yes, her mentor is wrong... Love knows no age for the heart only knows how to repeat one rhythm, therefore it cannot count years... And we all embrace life, even those of us that live in this world, we reminisce about our lives and hold onto the moments we cherish most." I shook my head and looked straight into her e/c eyes "Surely you want someone better."

"I don't believe there is someone better, but if there was, it's not my choice... Now go, I saw your desire to go after her and make sure she doesn't get herself wrapped up in some trouble!" She flicked her hand in my direction, I just nodded briefly before going to walk away but I quickly turned around to the two Sakai's. I went to offer my hand but noticed the other flowers "Can you place these?" Benjiro nodded and stepped forward to take the bouquets "Thank you, and thank you for coming to do this. Can you apologize to my friend for me, something urgent has come up?" Benjiro smiled and nodded "Yes, now go, don't wait around for us young man!" I nodded and rushed towards the entrance.
