The Captains Daughter

"Asher?" Blake asked in complete astonishment.

"Yea Blake it's me." Asher spoke in a cracked whisper. It was clear he hadn't used his voice in a while.

Not a second later the two ran into each other's arms. They hugged for a few seconds and Blake felt around his neck for his dog tags to make Shure it was really him. Asher had a small knot in his dog tags from when he broke them and she fixed them.

"You still have the knot in your tags." She said letting go of the hug.

"Blake why did you come back?" He asked as he grabbed her hand and ran out of the hall into a small room where they couldn't be found.

"I got sent on a shield mission to collect you." Blake replied in a whisper shout.

"Your with shield now, I mean it makes sense." He responded with the same energy. They continued to update each other on there life when the door burst open and a gun was shoved in Blake's face. She swiftly kicked the guards gun out of his hand while Asher began beating him up.

"I should have dragged you to the jet first." Blake remarked as she pulled Asher along.

"Hey go easy on me I'm coming willingly." Came the snarky comment.

Blake ran over to the gun she kicked out of the man's hand and picked it up.

"Fallow me." Blake said as she ran down a hall as quietly as possible.

Blake and Asher turned a few corners when an entire team of hydra men approached them. She and Asher swiftly began fighting the men until a red mist appeared and the men all fell.

"What was that?!" Asher asked turning to Blake. She didn't respond instead she ran as fast as she could out of the base. Asher fallowed her nearly catching up to her when they stoped near three people.

"Is this the kid?" Bucky asked.

"Yea and thanks wanda we needed the help." Blake replied.

"we should probably get out of here instead of chatting." Pietro interrupted.

The team reached the jet and turned it back on, activating cloaking as they took off. Bucky sent the signal to Tony and just a bit of reconnecting with Asher later, Blake and the team were back at the compound.

"I'm sorry Asher but I have to leave you in the testing room." Blake said.

"Stay." It was a simple request but she couldn't accept.

"I would, I really would but I would get a panic attack if I saw you being tested again." She replied.

"Ok well at least stay awake for me." Was his final request as he looked into her eyes.

"I'll do my best." Blake smiled as she spoke. "Bye." She said as Asher went into the lab. Blake went up to her room, changed into PJs then tidied around her room.

A few hours later Asher opened Blake's bedroom door and found her flopped In a mountain of pillows on her bed playing on her phone.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"Better actually they had me take something to help me relax." He replied as you patted the spot next to you for him to sit.

"Yea that stuffs the best but don't ever ask what's in it." She said as she started laughing.

"What's in it." He asked.

"I don't know he never tells me." She replied as she fained frustration.

There was a comfortable silence in the room as they both thought of how life would be now that they were together again.
