The team was deep into the mission as Blake and Asher were fiddling with the plane trying to fix it. Everything had become misplaced on the inside because of the rough landing so it took a bit longer for Blake to find and assess the inside.

"It looks good from the inside. What about you?" Blake asked over the comms she and Asher had.

"I fixed the wires but the shell is blown and I need to repair it. "Can you try and reconnect the system to the breaker?" Asher asked Blake.

"We need to fix the shell first or it will blow in your face." Blake said.

"Right. Can you bring the shell kit out then?" He asked.

After Blake checked the usual spot and didn't find it she began opening all the compartments.

"Where did you put it?" She asked sounding frustrated.

"It's in floor compartment 14. I moved it since we needed the other space for extra life vests." Asher answered quickly.

"I found it." Blake said as she arrived at Asher's side. They pulled there comms out since they were right next to each other now.

"We're gonna have to retire this plane soon If we keep having to make rushed repairs in the middle of missions. They don't even look good." Asher said as he started cutting the metal shell.

"Stop putting yourself down. It doesn't have to be perfect. Your a stark so it's gonna work weather it looks like it or not." Blake reprimanded and complimented at the same time.

"Thanks?" He asked confused weather I was being nice or telling him what to do.

"Hey," Blake started as she rested a hand on Asher's shoulder. "We do whatever it takes to make a better future because we don't want to make the same mistake twice, but mistakes happen and we can't stop that. That's why we keep going." Blake said as she looked at Asher. "Don't beat yourself up because you can't be perfect because I think you and your work are perfect"

Asher stoped what he was doing and gave Blake a hug. She returned the hug giving him a reassuring squeeze before letting him go.

"I think your perfect too, but you need to stop speeching people." Asher said as the two began laughing.

The two teens continued repairing the plane for the next hour until the team returned. Blake left to turn the plane on while Asher packed up the tools. Normally fixing planes was something Blake would stay out of but the work got done twice as fast and looked two times better.

Asher stepped back to admire his work and smiled thinking of what Blake had said to him.

Asher sometimes got a little self conscious because one of the ways hydra tortured him was forcing Blake to say awful things to him. She was never actually saying those things to him though. Blake would reassure him once they returned to there cells that she never said those things.

It was an un-stark-like quality that he unfortunately possessed but Blake's speech tendency's actually helped him a lot with his intrusive thoughts as much as he hated them.
