The Captains Daughter

Asher lay comfortably on Blake's bed talking with her about her new life. They were both still adjusting but now they were together again able to make better memories than before.

"So what's school like at midtown?" Asher asked fallowing up on Blake's statement about her friends from school.

"Well you'll probably get put in all my classes so you can just hang out with me and my friends. As far as school work goes we already were taught all of the curriculums in the old base so it will just be a refresher." Blake answered.

"That's convenient." He said smiling and turning to look at Blake.

"How so?" She asked with a look of confusion as Asher sat up on his knees to face her.

"Blake I have never seen a real cheeseburger how am I supposed to survive if all I do is school work." He said dramatically throwing his hands in the air. Blake yawned and so did Asher.

"Man I'm hungry now." Blake frowned.

The two shared a laugh then it went isle for a few seconds. "I don't mean to kick you out but your rooms directly across from mine if you wanted to go to bed now."

"Thanks." At that Asher left Blake's room and entered his own. The two of them soon fell into deep sleep thinking about the future meanwhile downstairs the avengers were wide awake.

"So what's in him?" Tony asked Bruce bluntly.

"He's got super serum in him but the hydra kind so they can mind control him and stuff too." Bruce replied.

"He really does look like you Tony should we run one last test?" Steve asked.

"Like what?" Tony said clearly oblivious.

"A paternity test Tony." Nat answered him.

"You can do that but I'll sleep better not knowing the results." Tony left the lab and climbed the stairs up to the hall that lead to everyone's rooms. He stopped at Asher's new room Wich use to be one of the guest rooms and peeked inside. Asher was sprawled on the bed sleeping soundly. "Tough kid." He said. He noticed his parental instincts kicking in even though he barely new the kid he was watching. He never thought he'd feel this way about a teenager but here he was acting the way Steve did the first night Blake spent with the avengers. He smiled and closed Asher's Dörr then headed for his own.

It was the middle of the night and Tony was tossing and turning unbeknownst to pepper who was still fast asleep. He couldn't stop thinking about Asher. He caught himself in his thoughts and spoke out loud. "I really hope he's my kid." Pepper hummed in agreement and wrapped her arm around him and they fell asleep together.
