Chapter 31

Ayla,

My Place is extremely busy over the weekend. That's why I have my army of soldiers working with me. Farren, Aqsa, Mamma and Inaya are busy with taking orders whilst I help out in the kitchen with Abu Jan. It has become a family affair and I love every minute of it.

It's the only place that has me on the my toes, it keeps me so occupied that my mind has no room for over thinking or dwelling. Especially since the arrival of a certain green eyed fella.

Crap!!

The green eyed fella has just walked through my door. Instantly I feel my face flushing as I see him scan the room and boom he's eyes clash with mine.
I turn around almost dropping the order I had in my hands.

I quickly steady myself, refusing to look anywhere else aside from the table of kids who are waiting on their order. I can hear Mamma greeting him and Tommy.

Damn it!!

I completely forgot that he had Tommy with him. I got so pathetically flustered that I didn't see cute,little Tommy. Taking a deep breath, I make my way to the table he's seated as my bloody tummy is having a butterfly party.

I see his eyes connect with mine as he stops mid sentence. I quickly turn my gaze to Tommy and break out into a huge smile. The beautiful little chubby baby has become a very handsome little fellow. His green eyes are so likes his father's that I do a double take.

He looks up at me and a shy smile plays on his lips. "You're the lady in the picture?" His question takes me off guard.

"Hey Tommy this is Ayla." James interrupts the moment as he makes the introduction.

I shake the Little hand Tommy has offered , he smiles at me with a little more confidence as I return his smile with one of my own.

"Hi, the last time I saw you, you were a tiny little thing . Look at you know." I can't get over the fact that he looks so much like his father.

"Hey baby boy, what can I get you " Farren has come
Over and ruffles Tommy's hair with affection.

"Mommm" He pouts as he rearranges his hair back.

"Ayla I see you've met my beautiful boy Thomas?" Her voice is filled with pride as she lovingly looks down at Tommy.

"Yep, we've just met. He's has grown so much!" I smile Farren and see the utter love shining in her eyes for her son.

"My boy is growing up to be a heartbreaker one day, much like his father!" She lets out a laugh as her eyes land on James.

"I don't think that is a compliment Farren" James jokes back as he clear his throat.  I chase a glance at him and my eyes widen in shock as I see a blush forming on his face.

What???

James Dean Hudson , blushing!!!!

"Oh come on now James!! You used to be notorious." Farren turns and winks at me, she is messing with him.

"Well that's in the past.. son how about we order know?" James blush has only deepened , his eyes turn to mine and something flickers in them.

I look away as I can't seem to hold eye contact with him for much longer but I see an emotion that I've only seen once in them  and that was on my wedding day.

Regret!

"Tommy it was a pleasure seeing you." I need to get out of here and fast. "Farren , I'll leave you to it!" I turn around and make my way over to the back of the kitchen where I can hide.

Yes! Yes! Hide that's what I need to do.  Hide from those piercing green eyes.  I don't need to see regret of any kind on those eyes.

Regret is just a rubbish emotion.  I don't have time for it and I certainly don't have time for beautiful green eyes who are swimming with the bloody thing.
