Chapter 7

Day 21

The next day Sarah got up a little hung over and drank several gulps of water from the pump in her tea mug she has in her backpack. She sat on the bed and got dressed in her blacks again but wore her green long sleeve peasant blouse this time. She washed her face and brushed out her hair and used her hair combs. She was finally prepared for the day. She left her cloak and just went down to get breakfast. She heard shouting.

A man shouted, "You and your friend kicked my tooth out and did this to my face! Mural, you kneed me in my bollocks and your friend did it to my friend too! My friend has a broken nose and a swollen face too!"

Murial shouted, "Because you grabbed us in all the places you shouldn't have! You chased us down to do, whatever you were gonna do to us. Whether it was in front of everyone or not! You vile brute you were hurting us! We were minding our own business when you laid your hands, your dirty hands on us!"

He said, "I don't remember that! You wanted us to take you both!"

Sarah came down the stairs and shouted, "You drunk piece of dung! I oughta kick your face in again for violating both of us! You animal! We weren't doing anything until you showed up grabbing everything for no reason!"

He shouted, "I don' remember that!"

Sarah said menacingly, "Then you shouldn't drink heavy like that in fairy rings, you Oaf! It's all your damn fault and your friend whether you remember or not! Get out and go home and heal up and remember not to do stupid things like this to women ever again because some fight back!" The guy lumbered off. Murial sighed and hurried over and hugged Sarah, being careful of her kitten.

Murial said, "Come on, let's get some food inside us, Sar." Sarah and Murial sat down and got tea and breakfast, eggs, mutton steak, potato cakes and toast. They felt much better after.

In the Goblin Kingdom, Jareth sat in his throne room and remembered his conversation with his father a day ago when he visited.

He had mentioned to his father that he had found out that the Ogre King's elven wizard had shut down Sarah's portal mirror eleven years ago as soon as she returned from her run and now she was missing. His father said, "You need to concentrate on your kingdom and your future position of High King. I want you married. You need to secure an heir. Playing with your humans will get you nowhere. Right now, to my surprise, Prince Alwin of the Elven Kingdom is infatuated with the first female and human to beat him at the archery contest at the Harvest Festival in the Pixie Kingdom. She split his arrow and knocked it out taking its place. King Orym had said it was the most incredible shot he ever saw in his life. He said she was the loveliest human female with green eyes and dark almost black hair, that he ever saw. She was disguised as a man until Alwin pulled down her hood after she won." Jareth perked up at hearing a woman that looked like his Sarah was doing these things in the Underground.

His father continued, "Her name was Sar. Yours was Sarah, what irony, huh? What is with you, Alwin and Orym all yammering about human females with green eyes and dark hair?  Jareth, go find a royal fae woman to settle down with." Jareth wanted to know if this was Sarah in the Underground. That would explain her disappearance.

Only his Sarah could beat an elven prince at archery, just like she beat him. She's the most lucky and clever woman he ever knew. She was taking archery lessons one time when he was watching her a few years ago. That's it! He made a crystal and it was black. Damn! She's here in the Pixie Kingdom and I can't see her! She must have somehow blocked my magic.

He got angry and thought, 'I'm going to find you, Sarah, and punish you for ever defying me and leaving me here alone pining over you and thinking you're dead! You have been hiding out in my own world! You better not end up with another! Charming everyone you meet! You are mine!'
