LABYRINTH: Birds Fly Over The Rainbow

Chapter 15

The chancellor said, "What say you Court mage?"

The dark fae mage said, "She possesses many magics. She has wish magic, Labyrinth magic, wild magic and natural healing magic as her own. She has multiple magical jewelry pieces and one is extremely strong. She is fully protected by any attacks, magical or physical. She is highly intelligent to be so prepared. I agree that this human woman is completely and totally a  magical half fae, half human. She is a hybrid." The room burst out with loud mummerings and the district representatives and the royal family started whispering to each other.

Sarah put Azure in his pouch around her neck. She petted him inside there. Sarah was in shock. She never suspected that her own personal magic was wild and natural healing magic or that she was half fae. She thought, 'What the hell was going on? What was that about fairy venom?'

The chancellor said, "But she looks human?"

The healer said, "On the outside, perhaps. On the inside she is a mixture of both."

The chancellor said, "This should be debated in private chambers. We will adjourn to debate." The Fairy King and Queen went with the eight representatives to the private chamber off the side door of the court. Sarah tapped her remote hearing ring.

The mage watched her and grinned at her knowing what she was doing. She smiled back at him and winked. He coughed to cover a laugh.

One representative- ".... She is clearly magical. There is no doubt in this. She is capable of being a titled Lady in this court"….

Second representative- "May be true about her magic, but do we really want half breeds in our court? It will sully our representation to the other kingdoms. She is an abomination."....

King Elwin- "It will not! She has earned the right by saving my daughter's life for no other reason than it's the right thing to do. She is a respectable person with manners, kindness and strength. She will be an asset to this court. She is not an abomination. I wanted her here even if she were completely human."...

Queen Leena- "I say she qualifies as a full member not honorary to be titled as Lady. I will not budge on this."...

The chancellor-"Your Majesties, see reason. She is a pollutant of fae and human blood. She probably saved the princess for a title."

Third representative - "I like her. I met her last night at the fairy ring and she was a personable and talented woman."

Fourth representative - "I agree with her majesty, she should be a full Lady."

King Elwin - "I say we have a vote. All that think that a magical being that has done a service to the royal family and is fae no matter how diluted you may find. She has earned the right and privilege to be here in this kingdom. I say Aye."

"Aye."

The chancellor said, "The decision passed. I still submit my resignation to the idea of this."

The high King said, "What Abron, does she have to save your life one day to change your mind? Get over yourself. Let's go."
