Chapter 36: Twin Flames

Flashback to when Y/N and Hawks were 16 years old

"Kei? When will she be back from her mission?" Y/N asks her trainer as she throws knives at the target

"Who? Lady Nagant? I'm not sure." Kei says, "Now focus on the target." Kei demands as he slaps her leg with his staff

"Must you be so mean to her, Kei?" A woman's voice says behind them. They both look over and see Lady Nagant

"Kaina!" Y/N exclaims as she runs over to give her a hug, "How was the mission? Tell me everything!"

"After your training I will." Lady asks, "I seen Hawks earlier, No training for him today?"

"They had to separate us today." Y/N sighs

"You two are always getting into trouble!" Kaina teases

Lady Nagant was like a mentor and friend to Hawks and Y/N. They met her when they were 10 years old and she was always on the go with her missions.

"I got it from here, Kei. I'll help with her aim." Kaina says

Kaina's Quirk allows her to extend a rifle from her right elbow. She can also create various types of bullets, such as hollow-point bullets and curving bullets, from her hair by twisting and molding her bi-colored locks like Epoxy putty and hardening it to be as strong as any ammo.

Y/N and Kaina walk over to the target. Y/N manifests Kunais and Kaina guiding her.

"So you and Hawks?" Kaina asks, "Do you guys still like to stargaze?"

Y/N throws her Kunai missing the middle target

"Of course, the only thing we can do around here." Y/N says, "and occasionally sneak out once and awhile." Y/N says with a smile

"I noticed you got your ears pierced, they look cute." Kaina says, "You didn't answer my question, you and Hawks?" Kaina asks as she guides Y/N hand

Y/N hesitates, "Kaina, I know you know."

Y/n manifests and throws another Kunai hitting the bullseye

"Alright, fine. Hawks told me you kissed him." Kaina says, "He was gushing about it non-stop when I stopped to see him. How did you know I knew about it?"

"Call it a woman's intuition." Y/N teases making Kaina smile, "Well it's about time you guys got together!"

"Oh Kaina we aren't together. I was just caught up in the moment when we were by the water fountain." Y/N panics to say

"Aw that's too bad, You guys look cute together. I'm sure something will happen in no time!" Kaina says, "Have you ever heard of Twin Flames?"

"Twin what?"Y/N says as she throws another Kunai at the target

"Twin Flames!" Kaina exclaims, "A twin flame is an intense soul connection with someone thought to be a person's other half. It's based on the idea that sometimes one soul gets split into two bodies and I think that's you and Hawks." Kaina teases

"Ha. ha. Next you're going to tell me what my rising venus sign means?" Y/N rolls her eyes making Lady Nagant laugh

"Lady Nagant. You are wanted by the President." Haru, Head of Security, comes in to say

Y/N gives her a hug and Kaina hugs her back, "I'll be back soon!"

Kaina walks out the door leaving Y/N alone in the training room. After their interaction Lady Nagant was sent to do another mission and it ended badly and she was thrown in Tartarus prison for killing  The Hero Safety Commission Director.
