Chapter 45: Insight

"Y/N?" Keigo says, jumping down from the trees.

"Keigo! How did you- how-" Y/N looks back at Dabi who has a smirk on his face, "I can't- oh my god Keigo. I-I-I can explain." Y/N fumbles over her words before Y/N knows it she sees Keigo fly towards Dabi tackling him into the water. Y/N feels her heart sinking.

"KEIGO!" Y/N sees Hawks fly Dabi into the water, "Fuck he's going to drown Keigo."

Y/N jumps into the water and tries to break them apart. Water is splashing everywhere making it hard for her to see.

Until she is accidentally hit by someone's fist.

"You son of a bitch! You hit her!" Dabi shouts

"Ow. okay I deserved that." Y/N grabs her nose

"No! You fucking hit her!" Hawks exclaims. Y/N gets back in between them holding her arms out.

"STOP!"

"Seems to me you didn't need no rescuing." Keigo says staring at Y/N

"Oh fuck you, Hawks. You don't deserve her! He hasn't done anything for you but bring you pain and misery all your life." Dabi shouts.

"You know nothing, Toya" Hawk mocks Dabi as Y/N holds him back

"I know everything, Birdboy." Dabi starts, "I knew your true name. Paid your mom a visit. She told me everything."

Dabi smirks before he knows it Dabi is being slammed against the rocks by Keigo.

"You. Know. Nothing." Keigo spats out as he holds Dabi against the rock, "Are you going to tell Y/N or should I?" Dabi whispers only for Keigo to hear

"Y/N!" Mirko exclaims and jumps into the water to bear hug Y/N, "What did I miss?"

"Glad you got my message, No.5. Thanks for coming to our rescue." Dabi teases with Keigo's arm pinned to his chest

After Hawks and Mirko extracted Y/N and Dabi, All Might and Endeavor had their heroes ambush the Hide-out. Unfortunately, Shigaraki and the rest of the league were able to escape. Keigo was able to get Y/N back safely to Hawks Agency.

"Dabi is being transferred to Endeavors Agency, For some... family therapy." Mirko tries to joke with Hawks and Y/N, "I will leave you guys...alone." Mirko walks out awkwardly

Hawks and Y/N look at each other and Y/N heads to Keigos office. Keigo follows behind her.

"Keigo.." Y/N whispers, "I'm-i'm so sorry"

"Do you love him?" Keigo shouts out

Y/N looks at Keigo as if she can't believe he is asking her that.

"I did what I had to do to survive." Y/N says quietly

"DO YOU LOVE HIM?" Keigo shouts even louder

"NOT IN THE WAY YOU THINK!" Y/N shouts back, "Dabi was the only person looking out for me in there. He was the only one making sure I had at least enough strength to live another day."

Keigo didn't say anything, he just looked hurt.

"Do you know what they did to me?" Y/N whispers "I got beat almost everyday, what felt like almost every hour because Twice was killed. They clipped my wings." Y/N pulls up her shirt and Hawks sees all her bruises and cuts. She turns to show Hawks her wings and how brittle they looked. "Toga took my blood and for all I know she's pretending to be me out there."
