Chapter 5: The Kiss

It wasn't a very exciting week of crime but Y/N enjoyed the company of Hawks. They even had a few run-ins with Kamui and Mnt Lady. Mnt Lady trying to convince Hawks to take her out for a cup of coffee, Hawks always refusing and being bothered by the fact that Kamui Woods seemed to be getting closer to Y/N

"Good Morning Kamui and Mnt Lady," Y/N greets them as she and Hawks sees them about to leave the coffee shop.

"Oh Moonstar, I took the liberty of paying for your coffee ahead of time. I hope you don't mind." Kamui said to Y/N as she walked towards the entrance of the coffee shop. "Oh Hawks, I had no idea you would be with Moonstar. If I had known, I would have got your coffee as well."

Hawks rolling his eyes at Kamui waiting for him to leave.

"I hope to hear from you soon, Moonstar." Kamui says to Y/N as she smiles and waves him goodbye

"Be nice, Hawks." Y/N says tapping his chest as Hawks holds the door open for her, walking in behind her.

"Can you believe that guy?" Hawks says in annoyance

"Aw ,is someone jealous that they didn't get a free cup of coffee? If I didn't know any better, Hawks, I would say you want me for yourself" Y/N teases poking fun at him

"So what if I do, baby bird?" Hawks says to Y/N in a flirtatious voice

Hearing those words made her speechless, they look at each other and Y/N feels herself start to blush

"ORDER FOR MOONSTAR!" the barista shouts, making Y/N jump

Y/N grabs it not realizing that Kamui had ordered her coffee already. He must have seen them walking towards the coffee shop.

Hawks orders his coffee and they sit and wait for his order.

"How's the coffee?" Hawks asks

"Oh its ass," Y/N says, throwing Hawks off guard at the comment, he laughs "It is! I have no idea what he ordered for me."

"So how did you and Mnt Lady happen?" Y/N asks

"Well I got lonely and she just happened to be there. It didn't last long, maybe 2 months. It wasn't anything serious. Pretty sure she was just using me because of my pro hero status." Hawks sighs

Hearing how he was lonely made her chest feel tight. She didn't know her absence made him feel that way.

"Well have no fear, because I Am Here." Y/N bellows out making Hawks laugh realizing she was mocking All Might

"ORDER FOR HAWKS!" the barista shouts

As Y/N makes it back to the hawks agency building, she goes to her desk to fill out paperwork. Hawks takes a seat at her desk, talking to her as she types away.

"There is a hero event tonight. You down to come as my plus one?" Hawks asks Y/n

"As your plus one huh? I don't know, I mean you are my boss and people will talk..." Y/N says jokingly, "Yeah of course, I don't have any plans. Fancy or Casual? Do I get to wear my hero suit?"

"Sorry baby bird, It's a fancy event. I'll have a driver pick you up as I have to be there a little early." Hawks says

"Well I finished the paperwork, Boss." Y/N says winking at him, "I will catch you later tonight."
